Happy Birthday to our beloved church leader! Today, we stand together as a congregation to pray Numbers 6:24-26 over your life: 'The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine on you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.'

We have watched you pour your heart into this church. Our prayer for you in this new season is that the Lord truly renews your strength as promised in His Word. May He lift the burdens from your shoulders and replace them with His 'easy yoke.' You have been a blessing to us; may you now see God’s blessing multiplied in your own home and family.

The National Bible Month in the Philippines has a rich and meaningful history that highlights the enduring importance of God’s Word in the lives of Filipinos. It all began with Presidential Proclamation No. 2242, signed in 1982 by President Ferdinand Marcos, Sr., which designated the First Sunday of Advent as National Bible Day and the last week of November as National Bible Week. This marked the first official recognition of the Bible’s significance in guiding moral values and faith in the country.

In 1986, President Corazon Aquino moved National Bible Day to January, further shaping the observance to better align with the spiritual life of the nation. Years later, the celebration was formalized through Republic Act 11163, authored by Senator Emmanuel Pacquiao and signed into law by President Rodrigo Duterte in 2018, which officially institutionalized National Bible Day.

This historical journey reminds us that the Bible has always been more than just a book; it is a source of guidance, wisdom, and inspiration. From its early proclamation to its formal institutionalization, National Bible Month encourages all Filipinos to celebrate, reflect on, and live by the teachings of God’s Word, making it a vital part of our daily lives.

Faith Tabernacle Christian Fellowship – Bindoy proudly joins the nationwide celebration of National Bible Month 2026 with grateful hearts and renewed faith.

Anchored on this year’s theme, “God’s Word Brings Life to Our Hearts and to Our Homes,” we celebrate the Bible as God’s living and powerful Word—guiding our faith, shaping our character, and strengthening our families and community. 📖✨

As Scripture reminds us in Deuteronomy 32:47, “These are not just idle words for you—they are your life.” Truly, God’s Word sustains us, gives direction to our journey, and calls us to live faithfully in obedience to Him.

Likewise, Jesus teaches us in John 13:34, “A new command I give you: Love one another. As I have loved you, so you must love one another.” This command challenges us to reflect Christ’s love in our homes, in the church, and in the community.

As a church, we commit to live out love, integrity, faith, and engagement, allowing God’s Word to dwell richly in us and overflow into our daily lives. Together with believers across the nation, we declare that God’s Word is life—transforming hearts and bringing hope to every home. 🙏📖
