CONSTRUCTION UPDATE.

DAY 78: May 11, 2026

The construction was started last February 02, 2026.

The Church of God Binangonan is deeply thankful to the Lord for His abundant provision and faithfulness as the church celebrated the GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY and FELLOWSHIP last January 24, 2026 for the construction of TEMPORARY SANCTUARY.

Since March 10, 2024, we have been raising funds through various means to purchase a parcel of land measuring 444 sqm, with a total amount of ₱3,552,000.00. The property is located near our present church, just across Margarito Memorial Hospital in Darangan, Binangonan, Rizal.

As of October 8, 2025, we have already paid ₱1,595,600.00, representing a 30% down payment and several months of amortization. The remaining balance will be payable over the next 36 months.

Our current lease for the present church location continues to increase. As of 2025, we are paying ₱25,000.00 monthly for rent. Since we now have our own lot, and we are also paying ₱54,000.00 monthly for amortization, the Pastor’s Council and Executive Council (PCEC) has passed a resolution to build a temporary sanctuary on the new site. This will allow us to save on rent while praying and preparing for the construction of the main building.

The council has initiated a fundraising goal of ₱700,000.00 to begin the construction of the temporary sanctuary by January 2026.

GOD IS OUR GREAT PROVIDER.

Last Saturday May 9, 2026 will be another joyful day in Kids Ministry through Operation Christmas Child of SAMARITAN'S PURSE which they gave GOSPEL BOX for the ministry partners which Church of God Binangonan became a recipient. It was attended by more than 100 kids

GOOD NEWS CLUB IS AN OUTREACH PROGRAM of Church of God Binangonan and PEG LIFESTYLE ORG to reach out children in the community thru GNC GATHERING every Saturday in different center. This program was flagship activity of Child Evangelism Fellowship (CEF) which they conducted training for teacher- volunteer to reach out children in the community. Resources like teaching materials and visual aid were provided.

As of May 2026, there was 4 Center for Good News Club with an average weekly attendanve of 80-100 kids and as follows
1. GNC CENTER SULUKAN
2. GNC CENTER PALANGOY
3. GNC CENTER BRIA HOMES TAYUMAN
4. GNC SAN RAFAEL

Praying that there will be more GNC CENTER around the community.

Why GOOD NEWS CLUB?

According to research (BARNA GROUP) reaching children for Jesus is vital because statistics show most people find faith young, especially in the "4-14 Window," with up to 63% of Christians accepting Christ between ages 4 and 14, a period when core beliefs solidify, making early discipleship crucial for lifelong faith and reaching families, as delaying evangelism drastically lowers conversion chances later in life.

PRAYING THAT THE LORD WILL SEND MORE WORKERS IN THE HARVEST FIELD, THE HARVEST IS PLENTIFUL BUT THE WORKERS ARE FEW.
