𝐑𝐄𝐀𝐋 𝐅𝐀𝐈𝐓𝐇 𝐓𝐑𝐔𝐒𝐓 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐒𝐔𝐑𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐃𝐄𝐑𝐒 𝐓𝐎 𝐆𝐎𝐃'𝐒 𝐒𝐎𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐄𝐈𝐆𝐍𝐓𝐘

📖 *James 4:13–17; 5:1–6*

In a world full of chaos, uncertainty, and constant change, it is comforting to remember that 𝙂𝙤𝙙 𝙞𝙨 𝙨𝙩𝙞𝙡𝙡 𝙤𝙣 𝙃𝙞𝙨 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙣𝙚. Nothing surprises Him, and His plans for us remain good. 🙏

Today’s message reminds us that Real faith is not just believing in God, but surrendering every part of our lives to Him.

✨ **𝗦𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗲𝗿 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗣𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘀**
We often make plans for tomorrow, next year, or even our future. But life is like a vapor—here today and gone tomorrow. Instead of relying on our own plans, we must say, “If the Lord wills, we will live and do this or that.” Trust God with your future.

✨ **𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬**
Knowing what is right but failing to do it is sin. God calls us not only to hear His Word but to 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗶𝘁 𝗼𝘂𝘁 𝗱𝗮𝗶𝗹𝘆 sharing the gospel, forgiving others, trusting Him instead of worrying, and obeying His commands.

✨ **𝐒𝐮𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐝𝐞𝐫 𝐎𝐮𝐫 𝐖𝐞𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐡**
The Bible does not condemn wealth, but it warns us not to place our hope in riches. Instead of hoarding or living only for ourselves, we are called to be generous, do good, and invest in eternal treasures.

💡 **Reflection:**
* Are my plans surrendered to God?
* Am I obeying what I know God wants me to do?
* Am I using the resources God has given me for His glory?

Let us remember: God does not bless us simply to raise our standard of living, but to raise our standard of giving.

**REAL FAITH MEANS BEING DEVOTED TO GOD** 🙏

📖 *James 4:4–12*

What comes to mind when you hear the word devotion?

Devotion means being **set apart** for God. Real faith is not just believing in Him—it is "giving Him our whole life". James reminds us that devotion to God is seen through three kinds of hearts:

❤️ **A Whole Heart**
We cannot love both God and the world. Friendship with the world leads us away from Him. God desires our **full love and loyalty**, just as a husband and wife are committed to each other. When anything takes God’s place in our hearts—money, success, pride, or possessions—it becomes an idol. Real devotion means loving God above everything else.

🙇 **A Submissive Heart**
“God opposes the proud but gives grace to the humble.”
Devotion requires humility and obedience. When we **submit to God and resist the devil**, the enemy loses his hold on us. A humble heart seeks God’s will and chooses obedience over excuses.

✨ **A Sanctified Heart**
“Draw near to God and He will draw near to you.”
Devotion means pursuing holiness. We cleanse our actions, purify our hearts, and turn away from sin. Instead of judging others, we focus on living lives that **honor God and prepare us for Christ’s return**.

True faith is not just words—it is a life "fully devoted to God".

Let us give Him:
❤️ our **whole heart**
🙇 our **submissive heart**
✨ our **sanctified heart**

Our hearts are overflowing! Yesterday, we had the incredible joy of hosting the Make Jesus Known Jalajala Children’s Christmas Party. Seeing the smiles on over 90 precious children as they celebrated the birth of our Savior was the greatest gift of the season.

A massive THANK YOU to our selfless volunteers and generous sponsors. Your hands and hearts made this possible. Because of you, these children didn't just receive gifts—they felt the love of Christ.
