Tatala church of Christ

Tatala church of Christ Visit or study with us. We’re just ordinary people who made the choice to become Christians only—nothing more, nothing less. We don’t follow any man-made creeds.

We are simply Christians—Bible-based and non-denominational—seeking to follow the New Testament pattern in faith and practice, and to proclaim the gospel of Christ as the only source of salvation and authority (Rom. 1:16; Jude 3). We answered the loving invitation of Jesus Christ to come to Him (Matthew 11:28–30), and through obedience to His gospel, we responded to His call so that we might share

in the glory of our Lord (2 Thessalonians 2:14). As members of the Lord’s church (1 Corinthians 12:12), we do our best to follow the pattern given in the New Testament—striving to do things "according to the pattern" shown by God (Hebrews 8:5). We continue steadfastly in the apostles' teachings, walking in fellowship with them, because "our fellowship is truly with the Father and with His Son Jesus Christ" (1 John 1:1–4; Acts 11:26). We firmly believe that the gospel of Christ is the only true and final authority when it comes to our faith and way of life (Romans 10:17; John 12:48; Galatians 1:8–9; 2 John 1–9). We are not ashamed of this gospel, because it is the power of God to save those who believe (Romans 1:16). The Barangay Tatala church of Christ is a non-denominational, independent congregation. We govern ourselves, and we strive to live in unity—continuing in the apostles’ teaching, in fellowship, in the breaking of bread, and in prayer—gladly and with sincere hearts (Acts 2:42, 46). We’d love for you to join us in one of our worship services. We are also happy to open the Bible with you and study together about “the faith once delivered to the saints” (Jude 1:3), and how each of us today can respond to it—just as the early Christians did. DISCLAIMER: This page is not made to attack, insult, or stir up hatred against any person, group, or religion. Our goal is not to discredit others, but to clearly share what we believe the Bible teaches. We simply want to declare our faith in God's Word, speak the truth with love, and encourage everyone to seek and understand what the Scriptures truly say.

❓ Does FAITH ALONE save?

The phrase "faith only" appears ONCE in the entire New Testament — and it appears in a DENIAL.

📖 "...a man is justified by works, and NOT by faith only." — James 2:24

Demons believe in God. They just don't obey Him.

The faith that saves is a faith that ACTS — it repents, confesses, obeys, and continues.

Does faith alone save? A biblical study of James 2:14–26 showing that true saving faith is always active, obedient, and proven by works.

From Genesis to Revelation…
one truth stands.
“The Word was God.” (John 1:1)
“My Lord and my God.” (John 20:28)
Lecture 18: The Final Conclusion — The Irrefutable Testimony of Scripture
This is not built on one verse.
Not one book.
Not one interpretation.
This is the entire Bible speaking as one.
From creation…
to prophecy…
to the cross…
to the resurrection…
to the final judgment…
Jesus Christ is God.
Now the question is no longer academic.
Will you accept what the whole Bible declares?

Final Bible study proving Jesus is God from Genesis to Revelation with a unified, irrefutable conclusion.

Jesus came once in humility.
He will come again in glory.
And this time—He comes to judge.
Lecture 17: The Second Coming — The Return of God Himself
The Bible says:
“Every eye shall see him…” (Revelation 1:7)
“He shall sit upon the throne of his glory…” (Matthew 25:31)
This is not a prophet returning.
This is not a man coming back.
This is the Judge of all.
So here is the question:
When He comes…
will you stand or fall?

Bible study on the Second Coming proving Jesus is God who will return in glory to judge all mankind.

Some say the Deity of Christ was taught later.
But what did the apostles preach from the very beginning?
“God hath made that same Jesus… both Lord and Christ.” (Acts 2:36)
“…the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.” (Acts 20:28)
This is not development.
This is the original message.
Lecture 16: The Deity of Christ in Early Church Proclamation (Acts)
This study shows:
• What the apostles preached in the very first sermons
• Why Jesus is called Lord from the beginning
• How the early church understood His identity
• And why this doctrine was never added later
So ask yourself:
If this was the message from the start…
why believe anything different now?

This is not just theology.
This is your salvation.
Sin is against God.
So the payment must be enough.
Lecture 15: Theological and Salvific Implications — Why the Deity of Christ Is Essential
The Bible shows:
• Only God can fully forgive sin
• Only an infinite sacrifice can redeem all
• Only Christ paid that price
And Scripture says:
“…the church of God, which he hath purchased with his own blood.” (Acts 20:28)
So ask yourself:
If Jesus is not God…
how can His sacrifice save you?
But if He is God…
then He is the only hope you have.

Bible study showing why Jesus must be God for salvation, atonement, and true redemption.

Not every teaching about Jesus is true.
Some say:
“He is only a man.”
“He is a created being.”
“He is lesser than God.”
But what does Scripture say?
“The Word was God.” (John 1:1)
“My Lord and my God.” (John 20:28)
Lecture 14: Refutation of False Doctrines — Exposing Errors Concerning Christ
This study reveals:
• Why “Jesus is only a man” is false
• Why “firstborn” does NOT mean created
• Why Christ is not a lesser God
• And how context destroys false interpretations
Truth does not fear examination.
If a doctrine collapses under Scripture…
it was never truth to begin with.

Bible study refuting false doctrines about Jesus using Scripture, context, and clear biblical authority.

Some say, “Where does the Bible clearly prove Jesus is God?”
Here is the answer:
Not by opinion.
Not by tradition.
But by Scripture itself.
Lecture 13: CENI Applied — Establishing the Deity of Christ by Biblical Authority
The Bible teaches through:
Command — direct statements
Example — approved actions
Inference — necessary conclusions
And when you apply all three:
Jesus is called God
Jesus does what only God can do
Jesus receives what only God deserves
This is not interpretation.
This is authority.
If Command, Example, and Inference all point to one truth…
what else can the conclusion be?

Bible study proving Jesus is God using Command, Example, and Necessary Inference from Scripture.

Not everything in the Bible is written as a command—
but everything God wants us to know is revealed with authority.
Command.
Example.
Necessary Inference.
This is not a system made by men.
This is how God speaks.
If we ignore one, we risk misunderstanding all.
“Why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say?” (Luke 6:46)
Read. Study. Understand. Obey.

Understand biblical authority through Command, Example, and Necessary Inference—how God reveals His will in Scripture.

Many are confused about the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Some say they are the same person.
Some say they are separate gods.
But what does the Bible actually say?
“Baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost.” (Matthew 28:19)
One name.
Three revealed.
Lecture 12: The Father, Son, and Spirit — Distinction Without Division
This study will show:
• Why the Bible teaches one God
• How the Father, Son, and Spirit are distinct
• Why they are not divided into multiple gods
• And how Scripture presents this truth clearly
No confusion.
No speculation.
Just what is written.
👉 One God… clearly revealed.

Bible study on Father, Son, and Holy Spirit showing distinction without division using Scripture alone.
