World Day of the Sick
St. Bernard of Clairvaux Parish

February 11, the feast day of Our Lady of Lourdes is also known as World Day of the Sick. It was started by Pope John Paul II as a way to offer prayers and sacrifices from those suffering from illness. Our activity started with a Healing Mass with anointing of oil by our Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Dave Figuracion Onilongo to more or less 100 parishioners and workers. It ended with a simple agape.

Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with the oil in the name of the Lord:

It is sustained by Manna packs donations thru DSAC Antipolo, neigborhood donations/support, Pamayanan feast day celebrations and private citizens/groups sponsoring. MSHD Monthly meeting for February was hosted by St. Michael Chapel . A three hour brainstorming on February and March activities with snippets of Kuya Fernando Abeto 's antics and jokes not to miss the delicious "ginataang bilo-bilo" and cheese/choco pandesal of Ate Ligaya Melad... we really had a good and fruitful time! Thanks to our chapel host Ate Gay and her members. 😍😍
