May season ba sa buhay mo na parang tahimik si Lord? Nagpe-pray ka naman, pero parang walang nangyayari.
Sa 2 Samuel 9, si Mephibosheth ay nasa Lo-debar, malayo sa palasyo. Pero habang nasa Lo-debar siya, hinahanap siya ng hari.

Maybe you don't see God moving, but that doesn't mean God has forgotten you.

GOD’S PLAN IS GREATER THAN YOUR PLAN | 2 Samuel 7 | Mugkape

May plano ka ba sa buhay na feeling mo, ito na talaga ang best para sa’yo?
Minsan, sincere naman ang plano natin. Maganda ang intention natin. Pero tulad ni David sa 2 Samuel 7, may magandang plano siya para kay Lord—pero may mas malaking plano si Lord para kay David.

A “NO” from God is not always rejection. Sometimes, it is redirection.
Baka hindi mo pa nakikita ngayon, pero God sees the whole story.

DON’T TAKE GOD’S PRESENCE FOR GRANTED

Napakalaking privilege na makalapit sa Diyos. Pero minsan, dahil sanay na tayong magsimba, mag-pray, at makarinig ng Word, nakakalimutan natin kung sino ang ating nilalapitan—ang banal na Diyos.

Sa 2 Samuel 6, natutunan natin na God's presence is not something we should treat casually.

Grace gives us access to God, but grace should never make us careless about God.

SA WAITING AT SA WINNING, KAY LORD TAYO! | 2 Samuel 5 | Mugkape

Kapag naghihintay tayo sa sagot ni Lord, madali tayong mapagod at magtanong, “Lord, kailan?”
Pero may isa pang danger: kapag natanggap na natin ang hinihintay natin, baka makalimutan naman natin Siya.
Sa 2 Samuel 5, finally naging king si David over all Israel. Pero kahit nasa season na siya ng winning, nag-inquire pa rin siya sa LORD bago siya humarap sa laban.

Huwag lang hanapin si Lord kapag kailangan mo Siya. Hanapin mo Siya kahit nasa season ka na ng blessing.

DON’T USE SIN TO GET AHEAD
Minsan, sobrang gusto nating makuha ang isang bagay kaya naiisip natin:
“Kailangan ko lang gumawa ng paraan.”

Pero paano kung ang paraan ay pagsisinungaling, panlalamang, manipulation, o compromise?
Sa 2 Samuel 4, may dalawang lalaki na pumatay kay Ish-bosheth dahil akala nila, makikinabang sila kay David.
Pero tinanggihan ni David ang kanilang ginawa.

God's promise never requires your disobedience.
Hindi mo kailangang gumawa ng mali para makuha ang tama na ipinangako ng Diyos.
