“Reclaiming the Power to Bless:
The Word Who Restores Our Blessings” reminds us that before humanity ever spoke, God was already speaking life, creation, and blessing into existence. From the very beginning, we were created in his image not only to live but to bless. The first words spoken over humanity were words of blessing, revealing God’s original design for us: to reflect His heart and speak life into the world.
— We were created to bless
Genesis 1:27-28
Humanity was created in the image of God, designed to reflect His nature through words that bring life, truth, and blessing. From the beginning, God intended for His people to live in His favor and become a blessing to others.
— Deception Stole the Blessing Voice
Genesis 3:1-6
Sin and deception distorted humanity’s identity and relationship with God. Doubt, fear, pride, and selfishness corrupted the heart, and because words flow from the heart, humanity’s speech became destructive instead of life-giving.
— Only the Word Can Restore Our Voice
John 1:1-3,14 | Ezekiel 36:26 | Romans 8:32
Jesus, the living Word, came to restore what sin had broken. Through His death and resurrection, He renews our hearts and transforms our words, allowing us once again to speak with grace, truth, encouragement, and blessing through the power of the Holy Spirit.

— The Full Story in Four Movements
God intentionally created humanity in His image as blessed, life-speaking bearers of His likeness, but this divine purpose was corrupted when sin blinded and distorted humanity during the fall. However, Jesus, the living Word, entered this brokenness to redeem humanity through His death and resurrection, overcoming the consequences of sin. Through the work of the Holy Spirit, this redemption leads to a total restoration, empowering humanity with new hearts and a renewed voice that speaks life once more.

The Lord did not create us to live with corrupted hearts and destructive words. Through Christ, the power to bless has been restored. Our words can now reflect the voice of God again, bringing life, healing, truth, and grace into every conversation.
“The Word became flesh and dwelt among us” so that our flesh could carry the Word once more.
