“Reclaiming the Power to Bless:
The Word Who Restores Our Blessings” reminds us that before humanity ever spoke, God was already speaking life, creation, and blessing into existence. From the very beginning, we were created in his image not only to live but to bless. The first words spoken over humanity were words of blessing, revealing God’s original design for us: to reflect His heart and speak life into the world.

— We were created to bless
Genesis 1:27-28

Humanity was created in the image of God, designed to reflect His nature through words that bring life, truth, and blessing. From the beginning, God intended for His people to live in His favor and become a blessing to others.

— Deception Stole the Blessing Voice
Genesis 3:1-6

Sin and deception distorted humanity’s identity and relationship with God. Doubt, fear, pride, and selfishness corrupted the heart, and because words flow from the heart, humanity’s speech became destructive instead of life-giving.

— Only the Word Can Restore Our Voice
John 1:1-3,14 | Ezekiel 36:26 | Romans 8:32

Jesus, the living Word, came to restore what sin had broken. Through His death and resurrection, He renews our hearts and transforms our words, allowing us once again to speak with grace, truth, encouragement, and blessing through the power of the Holy Spirit.

——————————————

— The Full Story in Four Movements
God intentionally created humanity in His image as blessed, life-speaking bearers of His likeness, but this divine purpose was corrupted when sin blinded and distorted humanity during the fall. However, Jesus, the living Word, entered this brokenness to redeem humanity through His death and resurrection, overcoming the consequences of sin. Through the work of the Holy Spirit, this redemption leads to a total restoration, empowering humanity with new hearts and a renewed voice that speaks life once more.

——————————————

The Lord did not create us to live with corrupted hearts and destructive words. Through Christ, the power to bless has been restored. Our words can now reflect the voice of God again, bringing life, healing, truth, and grace into every conversation.
“The Word became flesh and dwelt among us” so that our flesh could carry the Word once more.

Before you ever spoke your first word, God was already speaking life, blessing, and purpose over you.

We were created in the image of a speaking God made to bless, not to curse. Yet, deception distorted our hearts, our identity, and ultimately our words. Fear replaced faith, pride replaced dependence on God, and our voices lost the life they were meant to carry but the story did not end in the fall.

“The Word became flesh and dwelt among us.” John 1:14

Jesus came to restore what deception stole. Through Him, God replaces our heart of stone with a heart of flesh alive, tender, and responsive to His voice (Ezekiel 36:26). From restored hearts come restored words: words filled with grace, truth, healing, and blessing.
Your voice was never meant to destroy.
It was created to carry life.

To every mother, mentor, and woman of faith — Happy Mother’s Day! 🌷

A mother’s love reflects God’s grace,
Gentle hands and a warm embrace.
Through every prayer, through joy and tears,
She points hearts back to Him through the years.

Her strength is quiet, her faith runs deep,
Trusting the Lord His promises to keep.
Today we honor the love you give,
A beautiful reminder of how Christ calls us to live.

“Your Words are Seeds: The Power, the Source, and the Solution”—through which they hold power far greater than we may have realized: connecting us to each other, expressing our hearts, and binding our hope in the Lord. Our words are never neutral—it can uplift, hurt, or encourage others, a reflection of what really lives in our hearts.

________________________________________________

— Your Words Are Seeds You Will Harvest

Proverbs 18:20-21–"From the fruit of their mouth a person’s stomach is filled; with the harvest of their lips they are satisfied. 21 The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit."

Our words matter more than we may think, as they carry the power of life and death. Words we speak have outcomes over other peoples’ lives and feelings, whether to build up or destruct, ultimately binding us to the outcomes of what we say. Words spoken in love can uplift direction, and words spoken with anger can bring others down. Whatever we consistently speak, whether positive or negative—we will eventually eat, as this is the factor by which we build our lives and relationships around. As stewards of our neighbors, called to live out God’s love—gracious speech honors Him.

— The Tongue is the Messenger, The Heart is the Source

Matthew 15:18–"But the things that come out of the mouth come from the heart, and these defile a man"

The root of each word we say is deeper than we realize—it is the reflection of what lives in our heart. Is it love, gentleness, and joy? Or is it unresolved bitterness, pride, or insecurity? More than mere outward behavior—a pure and joyful heart pleases the Lord.

Whatever we may hide in our hearts—it will find its way out: The mouth is the exhaust pipe of the soul. Thus, it is with stewardship that we must guide our speech; let us ask: “What is living in my heart that keeps producing these words?”

— Only God Can Give You A New Heart

Ezekiel 36:26–"And I will give you a new heart, and a new spirit I will put within you. And I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh."

With both the power and the source greater than we may realize—so is the hope of a new heart. This removal of a “Heart of Stone” signifies an inner spiritual renewal, and a motion of God’s Grace. This is replaced with a gift from God, the “Heart of Flesh”—a spiritual and loving heart. Accepting this Heart of Flesh begins the total spiritual renewal of our hearts, and ultimately—our words.

________________________________________________

The transformation of our tongues begin with the transformation of our hearts. Let us be mindful of the words we speak, and check often what really lives in our hearts. But rather than exerting more self-effort, come to Him, and humbly say “Lord, I need a new heart. Give me only what You can give.” A new heart is not a mere human achievement. It is a gift from the Lord.

Proverbs 18:21 says that “"The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit."

Has a Word ever changed Your life?

Our words have the power of life and death—whether that is to bring someone up, or tear them down, rooting down deep to reflect the true state of our heart—whether it is joyful, hurt, angry, or peaceful (Proverbs 18:21, and Matthew 15:18). Words spoken in love can uplift. Words spoken in carelessness can leave wounds.

The root is deeper than we may realize, but so is the greatness of hope that the Lord has given us. “Create in me a pure heart, Oh God, and renew a steadfast spirit within me,” —Psalms 51:10. Only by surrendering our hearts to the Lord can change it, shaping it as a steward of others’ by the words it speaks.

“I will give you a new heart.”— That is His promise (Ezekiel 36:26). Watch the full message, and receive it today.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: the old is gone, the new is here!” — 2 Corinthians 5:17

The LORD our God has created us in His likeness—uniquely different from one another, meant to be extraordinary. However, as we kept changing and adapting into habits and forms that God never designed upon us, how can we still be extraordinary?

Jesus has come upon the Earth to address that problem. He offered us a new life, one in the presence of the Almighty God—a change that will transform our lives into something new. However, most people does not accept His offer, or at least, not completely.

People today not only “accept” Jesus’s offer of a new life—they take a piece of His offer and sew or combine it with their own old design, wanting to stick to their comfort.

Just what are they still holding on to? How can they let go of it and fully surrender to Jesus? Watch the message, enlighten yourself, and reflect—have you fully surrendered, or are there also still things you’ve still to let go of?

In Mark 2:19-22, Jesus confronted the current religious systems, beliefs, and traditions that were not His design, He offered three illustrations in parable:

—> Mark 2:19-20 : Jesus compares His presence to a bridegroom’s in his wedding—why must His people fast when it is a time for celebration? Jesus’s presence brings something new.
—> Mark 2:21 : In this verse, Jesus tell us that mixing the old and the new will only bring more damage; symbolizing the new life He offers that many people try to mix with their old life. For the old cannot contain the new.
—> Mark 2:22 : Through the symbolism of wine and wineskins, Jesus teaches us that when receiving the new life He offers, new life requires a new vessel. To accept this new life, we must transform ourselves in order to live it fully.

Many people have been broken, and thus, Jesus came to address that, for us to be made anew with a new heart, mind, and life.

However, just like in Mark 2, people were unwilling to accept His offer and held on to what they were already used to for their own comfort and control. And unfortunately, we are not much different from these people. We refuse to separate from our old patterns of living, and mixing it with the new life Jesus is offering for us to be comfortable without addressing what is truly broken.

This can also be referred to as “Patchwork Christianity”, which is adding only a little bit of Jesus into our lives. An example would be a jeepney with Bible verses on its walls only for the vehicle’s music to be unholy and worldly. Another example are Christians who are selective with God’s commands.

CHRIST is not a torn garment. He is to be received in his fullness. He is not here to fix or patch one area, but to transform our whole being. For Jesus does not look for a better version of you, but He wants you to to welcome him and become a creation that reflects His original design (become extraordinary!).

Most of us don’t struggle with the idea of change, in fact, they are intrigued by it. What they truly struggle is the real and actual act of changing. They’re not ready to surrender and still want some control over some parts of their life. But how do we exactly respond? We must let go and be made new. (Ezekiel 36:26-27 & Psalm 51:10)

A new heart doesn’t include what we already were, but our transformation. It changes how we live our lives, how we forgive, how we decide, how to respond, and it always starts with letting go. For a new life requires a new and willing heart.

Jesus does not force His way with us. He invites us to surrender, to give in, to let go of what is holding us back. And when He makes us let go, He doesn’t leave us empty—He gives us something better.

“Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path.” — Psalms 119:105 (NIV)

In Psalms 119:1–2, we are reminded that those who walk in the Lord’s ways and seek Him with all their heart are blessed. Even when the path ahead seems unclear, God’s Word guides us step by step.

Psalms 119:130 also tells us that the unfolding of His Word brings light and understanding. In moments of confusion or doubt, His truth helps us see clearly and move forward with faith.

Are we allowing His Word to guide our steps? Watch the message and reflect on how God’s Word lights our path each day.
