Mental Health Seminar | August 2, 2026
Building stronger minds begins with understanding, compassion, and community.
The Sto. Niño de Cebu Parish successfully conducted its Mental Health Seminar on August 2, 2026, at the Saint Augustine Hall, centered on the timely and meaningful theme:
"Mental Health Matters: Strong Minds. Strong Communities."
We were truly honored to welcome ANDRES V. VIRREY JR., PhD Cand, RPsy, RPm, ICAP II, FT, as our esteemed resource speaker. Through his inspiring and insightful presentation, participants gained a deeper understanding of mental health, emotional resilience, and the importance of creating communities where empathy, hope, and support flourish.
As people of faith, we are reminded that caring for our mental and emotional well-being is an essential part of caring for the whole person. May this seminar inspire each of us to become more mindful of our own well-being, more attentive to those who may be silently struggling, and more committed to building a parish community where everyone feels welcomed, valued, and supported.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Sanatio Psychological Services for their invaluable partnership and unwavering commitment to promoting mental health awareness and psychological well-being. Your generosity and expertise greatly contributed to the success of this meaningful formation program.
Our sincere appreciation also goes to our resource speaker, parish organizers, volunteers, and all participants whose presence and active involvement made this event truly enriching and fruitful.
"Take care of your mind, strengthen your spirit, and let us continue to care for one another."
May the Lord continue to guide us as we nurture not only healthy minds but also compassionate hearts, becoming instruments of healing, hope, and Christ's love within our families and our community.
