On church members who left church without a word...
On members who backbited their pastors...
On members who criticized their sermons and never took heed to them...
On members who strived to divide the church with gossips and intrigues...
On members whose loyalty were to other churches...
On members who always complained about everything...
On members who wrongly criticized their pastors of their faults but never praised the good ones that they were doing...
On members who created group chats by which they ridiculed their pastors...
On members who encouraged other members to transfer membership to other churches...
On members who were apathetic to the ministry of the church...
On members who always resisted the changes that were being implemented in the church...
On members who left church because of works they landed as answers to their prayers...
On members who left church because of their boyfriends (or girlfriends) who do not want to go to church...
On members who always resisted corrections but still insisted to stay in the church...
On members who always gave excuses...
On members who just quit their responsibilities...
On members who falsely accused them of so many things...
On members who secretly kept hatred on them...
On members who looked down on them...
On members who flattered them and never meant their praises...
On members who were ashamed of them and never trusted them...
On members who celebrated Pastors' Appreciation month as a month-to-be-good-to-the-pastor-since-we-have-eleven-more - months-to-do-as-we-wish-against-them...
On members who were too quick to judge them when they fail...
.. THEY WOULD MINISTER WITH GRIEF, NOT WITH JOY: FOR THAT ALSO WOULD BECOME UNPROFITABLE TO THE CHURCH!
PASTORS CAN ALSO BE HURT! And if they're not showing it, it is because they are trying to be strong FOR YOU.
THANK GOD THAT PASTORS DO NOT FOCUS ON THEIR HURTS! They focus on the Lord, His Vision and the Ministry instead.
