In the multitude of words there wanteth not sin: but he that refraineth his lips is wise.

Inspiration

It is better to say nothing than to open our mouths and sin with our words. The more we talk, the more likely we are to say something amiss. The tongue is often the instrument of sin. Better to let our words be few, or to think before we speak. Better to weigh our thoughts before we make them spoken words.

Prayer

O GOD, I have sinned far too often with my words. I put my hand on my mouth and repent of my sinful words, which were uttered in anger, jealousy, lust, or rebellion against You. Cleanse my lips as You did Isaiah's (Isaiah 6) when he saw the Glory of CHRIST. Teach me to think and speak well, to speak a word in season that will be like cool water to a thirsty soul. Amen.

Therefore, when he was gone out, Jesus said, Now is the Son of man glorified, and God is glorified in him.

Inspiration

JESUS knew what was to be in store for him after Judas sold out his Name with a kiss. Yet, instead of resigning Himself to desperation and doom, He instead saw the Glory that would Come, the Glory within which His Name would live on. Think; in the face of ones own defeat or impending trouble, do you cower in fear, or do you find courage in your Heavenly FATHER?

Prayer

LORD Almighty, grant me the Strength to carry on in the face of darkness and difficulties. Grant me to Courage in the face of challenges that seem insurmountable. For I know in You LORD, all things may be possible. In JESUS CHRIST Name I Pray and ask for Grace, Amen.

Who would not fear thee, O King of nations? for to thee doth it appertain: forasmuch as among all the wise men of the nations, and in all their kingdoms, there is none like unto thee.

Inspiration

Our GOD is the "King of Nations," setting up kings and removing them from power as He pleases. And He turns the hearts of kings as the rivers of water, whichever was He pleases. Though GOD allows many nations now to be ruled by ungodly leaders, their time will come to an end, and it will be found that even they, though unknowingly, furthered GOD's Purposes.

Prayer

You, O LORD, are KING of Kings and LORD of Lords. The heathen nations may rage and wish to remove You, O CHRIST, from Your Throne, but they cannot prevail. You will Reign on the earth in Righteousness. You will dash them to pieces like a potter's vessel (Psalm 2). But we will Rejoice in Your Sovereign Rule, even now, while we Pray for Your Kingdom to come. Amen.

Inspiration

Our mouths may be filled with all sorts; idle chatter, gossip, news, profanities or slander. Yet it would be best of all to fill it with Praise and love. GOD gave us our voices to not only communicate, but to choose our words wisely. Don't use it to injure or babble, but to spread His Gospel and Praise.

Prayer

LORD Almighty I Exalt Your Name on earth as in Heaven. Grant me the wisdom and the will to spread Your Name and deeds, to use my voice for beauty and Truth rather than lies and disparagement. Grant me this LORD, in Your Holy Name I Pray, Amen.

Inspiration

It is a great tragedy when someone who has preached or taught the Truths of GOD to others falls into some great sin and destroys his ministry and his reputation. It is worse still because it can be an excuse for many to reject the Truth. Paul consciously subjected his own body and carnal desires, bringing them under control and refusing the let them rule his life.

Prayer

You, LORD, have given the Church all manner of Gifts, Callings, and Ministers, for its Edification in the Truth. But no man is immune to temptation, and all must be vigilant against it at all times. Help me to keep the sinful nature in check and put it to death in me, day by day, that I may grow in Grace and be useful for Your Church. Amen.

Inspiration

Take a good look around, all, everything, have sprung from GOD's Hand and Creation. His original intent was for Good, for All things to be shared in common and equally as in Eden. But ugliness crept into Creation the day He allowed True Freedom to man. Instead of Adoration and Thanks, many men have parceled up these goods, divided up lands and resources, and ruined many parts of the earth. To squander GOD's Gift is also as a sin, for everything He did was intended to be loved, enjoyed and shared.

Prayer

GOD the Almighty, wicked are we to have squandered Your Gifts and hoarded it selfishly. Have Mercy on those who Follow Your Name, and wish to preserve what is still Good and Pure in all You have Created. Help me preserve Your Creation, and safeguard what is righteous, pure, and good. Amen.

Inspiration

Moses in anger threw the two Tables of stone on which GOD had Written the 10 Commandments. He had to go back to GOD for Him to make replacements for the broken Tablets. Moses' anger over Israel breaking the Commands of GOD was just, but He was wrong to throw these special stones and break them.

Prayer

Let us not, LORD, react to others' sins in angry way that causes us to do what we ought not to do. Let us be angry but sin not. Let us not think that the wrath of man will work the Righteousness of GOD. Let us remember You have said, "Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the LORD. Amen.

Inspiration

There are many ways one may think of Prayer and Worship, and one should feel encouraged in revamping them a little if it means one may serve better ones daily practices or routines. Singing GOD's Praises isn't just for in Church time, it is wherever, whenever. It can be your own song or one you've committed to heart, it doesn't particularly matter; GOD doesn't think of it as a singing competition. What is important is ones intent, ones heart, ones willingness to Rejoice! If singing is really not your thing, the definition could be widened; write a poem of Praise or do a dance, whatever it is, it's the Joy in celebrating our LORD that counts.

Prayer

Heavenly FATHER, I wish to sing Your Praises, to Rejoice in the Name of the LORD and His Only Begotten SON. For You are the object of our affection, the Source of all our Light, and the Giver of Truth. Heavenly FATHER I Pray that You may hear my Psalms reverberate up in the highest reaches of Heaven, for I love to Rejoice with You LORD, as I love You. Amen.

Inspiration

GOD is the CREATOR and the Preserver of all the universe. He did not Create it and then abandon it to go its own way, but He every moment upholds it in existence or it would immediately cease to be. All things in sky, and earth, and sea are the Works of His Hands and are ever under his Sovereign Rule.

Prayer

O CREATOR of All things, I cannot begin to fathom the Works of Your Hands. Their number is so great and the Wisdom they display so intricate as to be beyond my understanding. How much Greater, then, must You be Who made them? Each moment You uphold me in existence; my life and breath are ever in Your Hands. Teach me to live in the Light of these Truths. Amen.

Let love be without dissimulation. Abhor that which is evil; cleave to that which is good.

Inspiration

We cannot be picky when it comes to who or what we love with the LORD. If it is made with His Grace, if it is filled with Goodness, we ought to reserve any space we can within our heart for it. For to love delights GOD, for these are His Creations, His Gifts to us. There is already so much sin and evil in the world, lets not sully it more with following after our temptations or weaknesses, but cling rather to all that is pure and good, for these are the precious and treasured things that make our spirits endure.

Prayer

GOD my Shepherd and FATHER, my SAVIOR and Provider, Help me see the Beauty and Good in all You do. Help me seek out Your Works and all that nourishes the spirit. Let me not neglect any part of Your Wondrous Works, but in loving them, see them all as a Path which brings me closer to understanding Your Grace and Glory. In the Name of the FATHER, and of the SON, and of the Holy Ghost, I Pray. Amen.
