Inspiration

The WORD of GOD is what Guides our lives and keeps us from the darkness. We hear GOD's WORD through His SPIRIT, the HOLY SPIRIT, in times of Prayer; and we also hear His WORD through the Scriptures we read. Keep your mind fixed on the WORD of GOD, it will continually keep you Safe, keep you Encouraged, and keep you Wise so that you will always be wary of the ways of the enemy.

Prayer

Dear GOD, I am Grateful for Your WORD in my life. FATHER, Thank You for all the Guidance that You have provided me. For all the times, You kept me out of darkness and showed me the Light, LORD, I am Truly Grateful. In JESUS CHRIST Name, I Pray. Amen.

Inspiration

There is much packed into Peter's four-word confession, which JESUS says was revealed to him by the FATHER and upon which JESUS Promised to build His Church. It is about the identity of JESUS. First, He is the CHRIST, the long-promised Jewish MESSIAH Who will Reign over all the earth. Note that He is "the" CHRIST, not merely "a" christ. And His origins are "of GOD. " He is not just a man Whom GOD uses Greatly, but is Partaker of all the Divine attributes, "GOD of GOD" and Coequal with the FATHER in Glory.

Prayer

May we confess, LORD, from the heart that confession that Peter declared so long ago, that You are the CHRIST of GOD. You are our Anointed (for the word for MESSIAH/CHRIST means "Anointed") Prophet, Priest, and King. You Teach us of GOD, intercede with us before GOD, and Rule over the Kingdom of GOD. Amen.

Inspiration

Clear evidence of our Discipleship in CHRIST is seen in sticking to His WORD, Following His Instructions and delighting in His Truth. The world will always try to make you feel like it is "uncool" or "prudish" to follow CHRIST. Those are simply lies of the devil. Choose to pursue CHRIST in all you do; it will Benefit you for an Eternity.

Prayer

Dear GOD, I desire to pursue You and the things of You and Your Kingdom. Even if the world will make me seem like a fool, I don't care. I know that this world does not have anything for me. I find all I need in You, LORD. In JESUS CHRIST Name, I Pray. Amen.

Then said he unto me, The iniquity of the house of Israel and Judah is exceeding great, and the land is full of blood, and the city full of perverseness: for they say, The LORD hath forsaken the earth, and the LORD seeth not.

Inspiration

It is striking that a generation that thought GOD did not see their sin was the very generation that was exceedingly overflowing with sin. GOD's judgment on Israel and Judah would not be held back. Their iniquities mounted up, as it were, to Heaven. And yet, they deluded themselves into thinking that GOD did not see or did not care.

Prayer

O LORD, we know that sin has a blinding effect upon the sinner, making him unable to see the obvious. It also has a hardening effect, making him unwilling to be corrected and angry at any who point out the error of his ways. Let us not be deceived or blinded by sin, but let us be enlightened and made wise by Your Holy WORD. Amen.

The LORD is merciful and gracious, slow to anger, and plenteous in mercy.

Inspiration

GOD delights in showing Mercy; He takes no pride in anger or wrath. This is why He chose to sacrifice His SON, for us, instead of pouring His Wrath of our sin, on us. Even in His anger, GOD would come to the Israelites' Rescue when they called on Him for help – no matter what they had done. GOD has always intended on being Gracious – from the very beginning – and He will NEVER change.

Prayer

Dear GOD, I Thank You that I am a recipient of Your Mercy and Your Grace. FATHER, my life would have been over without Your Love. Thank You for finding us, all humankind, to be worth the Sacrifice; it is something I Pray that we never take for granted. You are Amazing, GOD. In JESUS CHRIST Name, I Pray. Amen.

As he spake these words, many believed on him.

Inspiration

John Chapter 8 is a very unusual and startling Chapter. Here in Verse 30, many are said to have "Believed on Him. " But yet, He immediately says that only if they continue in His WORD are they truly His Disciples. (Verse 31) By the end of the Chapter, JESUS has called many of them children of the Devil and they have taken up stones to stone Him, but could not because His hour had not yet come.

Prayer

O LORD GOD, there is that which is True Saving Faith and that which is merely external and intellectual and even temporary. By Your Grace, let us continue in walking in Your WORD, showing ourselves to be Your Disciples indeed. We shudder to think of false believers, but we know they exist. Let us examine ourselves to see if we be in the Faith. Let Your SPIRIT confirm to our spirits that we are the sons of GOD. Amen.

Inspiration

It can become very easy to point out other people's flaws and shortcomings, instead of focusing on the areas in our lives that require improvement. JESUS spoke against this behavior, adamantly. As Christians, we aren't to be self-righteous, seeking to point out other people's mistakes and becoming blind to our own. We are to be humble – even when correcting people – and realize that just as someone has made a mistake, we are very capable of doing the same thing.

Prayer

Dear GOD, I Pray that I will never become the type of person who takes delight in pointing out people's flaws. I know that I have my own things I need to deal with and I will never compare my problems with someone else's problems. I Pray that I may be loving in times where I need to correct someone, always remembering that no one is perfect and we are all overcoming issues in our lives. In JESUS CHRIST Name, I Pray. Amen.

For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.

Inspiration

Paul knew more than anyone what it meant to suffer as a Christian. And yet, he did not think the sufferings of this life and of this age were anything remotely comparable to the Glorification of GOD's Saints that awaited the age to come. The sufferings of life are but momentary, like a blip on a radar screen, compared to the Endless Days of Eternity.

Prayer

O FATHER, You have in Wisdom and Love to us ordained times of trials and sufferings for our own ultimate benefit and Your own Glory. Job in the Old Testament, Paul in the New Testament, and countless other Saints of GOD have suffered many things far worse than what we have suffered. Teach us not to complain but to Trust Your Purposes in sending suffering, even when those Purposes are unknown to us. Amen.

Inspiration

After a long, hard struggle, the walls of Jerusalem had finally been rebuilt by Nehemiah and the remnant of Judah. But before the dedication ceremony for the wall, the priests and Levites who would lead in it made themselves ceremonially pure. And they also purified the people who attended, and the walls, and all the gates of the wall.

Prayer

Teach me, LORD, to be pure. Especially before some work I endeavor to do for You or afterward to celebrate it, but not then only, but every day. I know You use clean vessels to accomplish Your Work. None of us are without sin, but You always work in a man before You work through him. Prepare me for Your Work, O LORD. Amen.

Inspiration

This woman taken in the act of adultery was guilty, but they did not bring the man involved in the adultery to be stoned. And all those gathered around were sinners themselves. JESUS had Mercy on her, but He told her in Verse 11, "Go and sin no more. "

Prayer

O LORD, when we think of our own failings, of how much we ourselves have sinned, how can we think ourselves better than others? how can we look down on them when we are as guilty as they? We all need Your Forgiveness. We all need Your Grace. Teach us to love others, and Help us to turn from sin more and more day by day. Amen.
