"Hindi sayang ang Oras sa Children Ministry."

Last Sunday reminded me again that time spent in the Children's Ministry is never wasted.

Bilang mga Lingkod ng Diyos, maraming bagay ang kailangang gawin. Preparing sermons, leading worship, attending meetings, visiting members, counseling, and many other responsibilities in the ministry.

Minsan, dahil sa dami ng gawain, may mga tao na nag-iisip na ang Children's Ministry ay hindi ganoon ka-importante.

After all, bata pa lang naman sila. Hindi pa nila lubos na nauunawaan ang lahat.

Pero naniniwala akong isa iyon sa pinakamahalagang ministries sa loob ng simbahan.

Habang nagtuturo ako ng Sunday School, nakita ko ang excitement ng mga bata na makinig sa Bible story.

Nakita ko ang kanilang eagerness na sumagot, magtanong, at matuto tungkol kay Jesus.

At habang pinagmamasdan ko sila, naisip ko na ang mga batang ito ang susunod na henerasyon ng church.

Some of them may become pastors.
Some may become missionaries.

Some may become faithful fathers and mothers.

Some may simply become Christians who will faithfully serve God wherever He places them.

Hindi natin alam kung ano ang magiging plano ng Diyos sa bawat isa sa kanila.
But one thing is certain.

Every Bible story they hear...
Every memory verse they memorize...
Every prayer they learn...

And every truth about Jesus that is planted in their hearts...
God can use all of these for His glory.

Minsan hindi natin agad nakikita ang bunga ng ating pagtuturo.

Sometimes we feel tired.
Sometimes we wonder if the children are really listening.

Sometimes we think our efforts are too small to make a difference.
But God never wastes His Word.

At umaasa ako na patuloy nating makita ang halaga ng Children's Ministry. Hindi lamang ito tungkol sa pag-aalaga ng mga bata habang nasa worship ang kanilang mga magulang.

It is about introducing them to Jesus while their hearts are still willing to learn.

Lalo na tayong mga naglilingkod sa Children's Ministry, huwag sana tayong mapagod sa paggawa ng mabuti.

May we continue planting God's Word.
May we continue loving the next generation.

And may we always remember that every lesson we teach today may become the very truth that keeps someone faithful to Christ tomorrow.

Sometimes, the smallest classroom becomes the place where God is preparing the biggest future.

𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐬 𝐖𝐚𝐬𝐧’𝐭 𝐂𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐚’𝐬 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞

For years, Martha has been remembered as the busy one.

The distracted one.
The one who chose serving over sitting.

While Mary is often praised for simply sitting at Jesus’ feet.
But perhaps the lesson isn’t that serving is wrong.

After all, someone had to prepare the meal.
Someone had to welcome the guests.
Someone had to do the work.

Jesus never rebuked Martha for serving.

He lovingly pointed out that she had become “𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐛𝐲 𝐦𝐚𝐧𝐲 𝐭𝐡𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬.” (Luke 10:41)

The problem was never the service.

It was that the service began to overshadow the Savior.

𝐃𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐜𝐡𝐨𝐨𝐬𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐭𝐰𝐞𝐞𝐧 𝐛𝐞𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐚 𝐨𝐫 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐲.
𝐁𝐞 𝐛𝐨𝐭𝐡.
𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬, 𝐛𝐮𝐭 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐥𝐞𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐥𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐭 𝐨𝐟 𝐉𝐞𝐬𝐮𝐬.

The Church needs 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐬.

People who prepare, organize, teach, clean, visit, lead, and faithfully serve.

But it also needs 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐲𝐬.

People who know that before we serve Christ, we must first know Christ.

One without the other is incomplete.

𝐀 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐩𝐚𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐯𝐞.

𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐭 𝐚 𝐫𝐞𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐡𝐢𝐩 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞𝐬 𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐭𝐲.

It is possible to become so busy doing things for God that we slowly stop spending time with God.

We become experts in ministry while strangers to His presence.

Jesus is not asking us to abandon our responsibilities.

He is inviting us to remember why we serve in the first place.

𝐌𝐢𝐧𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐫𝐲 𝐰𝐚𝐬 𝐧𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐫𝐞𝐩𝐥𝐚𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐚𝐜𝐲.
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐡𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐬𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐞 𝐬𝐡𝐨𝐮𝐥𝐝 𝐚𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐛𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐠 𝐭𝐨 𝐚 𝐡𝐞𝐚𝐫𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐥𝐥 𝐬𝐢𝐭𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐇𝐢𝐬 𝐟𝐞𝐞𝐭.

Serve faithfully. Love deeply. Work diligently.

𝐃𝐨𝐧’𝐭 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫 𝐛𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐬𝐨 𝐨𝐜𝐜𝐮𝐩𝐢𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤 𝐨𝐟 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐭𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐲𝐨𝐮 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐠𝐞𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐨𝐝 𝐨𝐟 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐰𝐨𝐫𝐤.

Ito ay pagtatanim ng Salita ng Diyos sa puso ng susunod na henerasyon. 🌱

Pagod? Oo. Mahirap? Sobra. Pero sulit—dahil bawat batang naaabot, may kinabukasang nababago. ❤️

Today’s small seeds, tomorrow’s strong believers.”

Hindi madali ang magtayo at magpatakbo ng Children Ministry—

Maraming pagod, oras, at resources ang kailangan.

Minsan kulang ang budget, kulang ang volunteers, at may mga araw na parang walang nangyayari.

Pero sa kabila ng lahat ng iyon, bawat pagkain na naibibigay, bawat awit na nai-tuturo, at bawat kwento ng Biblia na naihahasik sa puso ng mga bata ay may walang hanggang halaga.

Hindi man agad makita ang bunga, may binhi na naitanim—at ang Diyos ang magpapalago nito sa tamang panahon.

Ang tunay na dahilan kung bakit natin ito ginagawa ay hindi para sa recognition, kundi para maipakilala si Kristo sa murang isipan ng mga bata.

Sa bawat simpleng pagtuturo, yakap, at pag-aalaga, nagiging instrumento tayo para maranasan nila ang pag-ibig ng Diyos.

Kaya kahit mahirap, sulit—dahil ang isang batang makakilala sa Panginoon ay maaaring maging ilaw sa kanyang pamilya at sa susunod pang henerasyon.

:
Huwag kang mapagod sa paggawa ng mabuti. Kahit maliit ang nakikita mong resulta ngayon, may malaki kang naihahasik sa hinaharap. Tuloy lang—ang Diyos ang bahala sa bunga.
