Good Friday invites us into a moment of quiet reflection, remembering a love so profound it embraced sacrifices for the sake of others. It reminds us of the true essence of a love that is selfless, faithful, and enduring.

As we reflect on sacrifice and redemption, may we carry these lessons into our daily lives by choosing kindness, offering forgiveness, and opening our hearts to serve others.

𝐌𝐚𝐮𝐧𝐝𝐲 𝐓𝐡𝐮𝐫𝐬𝐝𝐚𝐲: 𝐓𝐨 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐄𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐎𝐭𝐡𝐞𝐫!

Today's Maundy Thursday, we shall reflect on the Last Supper and the powerful message it carries, a call to love and serve one another with humility. Through this act of service, Jesus showed that true greatness is found in putting others before ourselves.

May we honor this day by showing compassion, offering our time to those in need, and embracing a spirit of genuine service in all that we do.

𝐋𝐔𝐍𝐄𝐒 𝐒𝐀𝐍𝐓𝐎 ✝️

In John 12:1–11, Mary pours out an expensive perfume to anoint the feet of Jesus—an act that seems excessive to others, especially Judas, who questions its worth. But for Mary, it wasn’t about the cost—it was about love. She gave her best, holding nothing back, showing that real devotion goes beyond what is practical or expected. Jesus honors her act, reminding us that love offered sincerely is always meaningful in God’s eyes.

As young people, this challenges us to reflect: how do we show our love for Christ? In a world that often measures value by usefulness or recognition, we are called to love boldly and generously—even when others may not understand. Like Mary, may we not be afraid to give our time, our energy, and our hearts fully to the Lord, trusting that every act of love, no matter how small or unseen, truly matters.

𝗜𝗻 𝗣𝗵𝗼𝘁𝗼𝘀:

𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗰𝗵 𝟬𝟳, 𝟮𝟬𝟮𝟲 | 𝟭𝟳𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗶𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗪𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀

The 𝗖𝗮𝗺𝗽𝘂𝘀 𝗠𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆-𝗠𝗣𝗖𝗙 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗮𝘇𝗽𝗶 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆 humbly joined the 𝟭𝟳𝘁𝗵 𝗗𝗶𝗼𝗰𝗲𝘀𝗮𝗻 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝘁𝗵 𝗪𝗮𝘆 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗖𝗿𝗼𝘀𝘀 held at 𝗞𝗮𝘄𝗮-𝗞𝗮𝘄𝗮 𝗡𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗹 𝗣𝗮𝗿𝗸 and the 𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗹𝗶𝘁𝗲 𝗠𝗼𝗻𝗮𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗿𝘆 of the 𝗗𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗲 𝗠𝗲𝗿𝗰𝘆, 𝗧𝘂𝗯𝘂𝗿𝗮𝗻, 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗮𝗼 𝗖𝗶𝘁𝘆.

With the 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺𝗲, “𝗠𝗶𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻: 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀 𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗲𝗿, ‘𝗚𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗺𝗲 𝗮 𝗱𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗸’ (𝗝𝗼𝗵𝗻 𝟰:𝟳),” this sacred gathering brought together youth from different parishes and schools, united in faith, prayer, and devotion. The event opened with a solemn paraliturgy presided over by 𝗥𝗲𝘃. 𝗙𝗿. 𝗔𝗻𝗱𝗿𝗼 𝗗𝗲 𝗩𝗲𝗿𝗮 at the Divine Mercy Shrine of the Holy Trinity.

As we journeyed through the Stations of the Cross—many walking barefoot in humility and sacrifice—we reflected deeply on Christ’s passion. Moments of silence, prayer, and the Sacrament of Reconciliation allowed each participant to encounter God’s mercy in a personal way.

The celebration continued with the procession of the Table Cross Altar led by the youth and sisters, followed by the Eucharistic Celebration presided over by 𝗕𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗽 𝗝𝗼𝗲𝗹 𝗭. 𝗕𝗮𝘆𝗹𝗼𝗻, 𝗗.𝗗., together with the concelebrating priests. Gathered at the church façade, the youth filled the space with vibrant faith as we listened to the Word of God and celebrated the Holy Mass.

This annual diocesan event strengthens the spirituality of the youth, reminding us that our journey with Christ goes beyond the last station. In every prayer whispered and every step taken, we are called to continue His mission in our daily lives.

Kaya mga Kalakbay, patuloy tayong maglakbay kasama si Kristo, at nawa ang ating buhay ang maging sagot sa Kanyang uhaw.
