Sunday Worship Assembly | Church of Christ in Bayombong 🙏

What truly matters most is not how the world sees us, but how God sees us.❤️

Our heartfelt thanks to Brother Jilmer Joey Villanueva for sharing a meaningful lesson entitled “What Matters the Most is God’s Perspective.” The brethren were reminded of what God’s perspective tells us about our lives:

We are chosen,
We are valued and;
We have a purpose.

Above all, Christ is our ultimate example-the perfect model of faith, obedience, love, and service.

As we apply these truths in our daily lives, may we continue to have strong faith in God, let His Word be our standard, and recognize prayer as a powerful tool that draws us closer to Him.

It was truly a joyful and uplifting worship assembly as the brethren gathered together with one heart and one spirit to worship our Creator. May we continue to see ourselves and our lives through God’s perspective, trusting His will and purpose every step of the way. 🙏

“What matters most is God’s perspective.”

The ladies of the Church of Christ in Bayombong were blessed to be part of the Ladies Retreat hosted by the Church of Christ in Villaverde, with a meaningful lesson shared by Sister Ethelle Jonem Palitayan .

Through the theme “The Masterpiece - Embracing Your Design,” we were reminded that God knows us deeply, created each of us with purpose, and has given every woman a unique design and calling. We learned to appreciate who we are, trust God’s plan, and embrace the purpose He has prepared for our lives.

It was a beautiful time of learning, fellowship, encouragement, and spiritual growth. May the lessons we received continue to strengthen our faith and inspire us to live confidently according to God’s design. 🌷

I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made. Psalm 139:14

Sunday Worship Assembly at the Church of Christ in Bayombong. 🙏

Today, we were blessed as Brother John Carlo shared an inspiring lesson entitled "Be Against the Tide," drawn from the lives of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego and anchored in Romans 12:2. In a world that constantly pressures us to conform, we were reminded to stand firm in our faith, remain faithful to God, and courageously choose what is right even when it is unpopular.

It was truly encouraging to witness the congregation eagerly listening to God's Word and actively participating in the worship service. The joy, attentiveness, and hunger for spiritual growth were evident throughout the assembly, making the worship experience both meaningful and uplifting.

May we continue to resist the patterns of this world, be transformed by the renewing of our minds, and faithfully follow God's will no matter how strong the tide may be. All glory and honor belong to God! ❤️🙏☝️

Sunday Worship at the Church of Christ in Bayombong was truly a blessing. We were greatly encouraged and strengthened by the message shared by Brother Roderick Sacreda entitled, "Speak the Word and Let It Be," based on Luke 7:1-10.

Through the account of the Roman centurion, we were reminded of the power of genuine faith and complete trust in the authority of Jesus Christ. The centurion believed that the Lord only needed to speak the word, and his servant would be healed. Because of his humility and unwavering faith, Jesus commended him, saying that He had not found such great faith even in Israel.

This lesson challenges us to trust God's Word even when we cannot immediately see the outcome. Faith is believing that God is able, willing, and faithful to fulfill His promises according to His perfect will. In a world filled with uncertainty, we are called to rely not on our feelings or circumstances, but on the authority and truth of God's Word.

May we continue to grow in faith, obedience, and confidence in Christ, knowing that His Word is powerful, trustworthy, and never fails. As Isaiah 55:11 declares, God's Word will not return empty but will accomplish the purpose for which He sends it.

To God be all the glory for another meaningful time of worship, fellowship, and learning from His Holy Word.

Together with the faithful brethren, we had the privilege of visiting our beloved widowed sisters, Sis. Beth Torres and Sis. Isabelina Cristobal, in their homes. Both are cherished members of the Bayombong congregation.

Our visit was filled with meaningful fellowship as we shared God's Word, sang hymns of praise, offered prayers, and enjoyed heartfelt conversations. What made the gathering even more memorable was the joy and laughter we shared while talking about life's experiences, including the different health challenges that often come with age. Despite these struggles, their faith, resilience, and love for the Lord remain inspiring.

Most importantly, we encouraged one another in the faith, fulfilling Christ's command to love, strengthen, and care for one another. As the Scriptures remind us, “Is anyone among you suffering? Let him pray” (James 5:13-17), and “Pure and undefiled religion before God the Father is this: to visit orphans and widows in their trouble” (James 1:27). We also reflected on Ecclesiastes 12:1, 13-14, which teaches us to remember our Creator and live in reverent obedience to Him.

Our fellowship was further strengthened by God's Word in Hebrews 10:24-25, encouraging believers to spur one another toward love and good works, and Galatians 6:2, reminding us to bear one another's burdens and fulfill the law of Christ. Truly, Christian fellowship is a blessing, especially when it brings comfort, encouragement, and renewed hope to those who have faithfully served the Lord through the years.

We thank God for this opportunity to minister, listen, pray, and learn from these faithful sisters. May we continue to be instruments of God's love and encouragement, remembering that every act of kindness done in Christ's name brings glory to Him.

Therefore encourage one another and build each other up. 1 Thessalonians 5:11
