Formerly organized mission church of JCRCM Christchurch, New Zealand in 2015 and now adopted/mission Church of Bethany Baptist Church Makati City under Pastor Gerry Nable last 2018. Background:

pastor of JCRCM and the partnership of Pastor Lucas M. (now Pastor Emeritus) who started the mission church in Leyte, Philippines. This has been organized by Pastor Marzan last April 26, 2015 with 40 chartered baptized members. The church now was adopted by Bethany Baptist Church - Makati under the leadership of Rev. Gerardo Nable at the time when the son of the former pastor, Ptr. Christian Jay Romano graduated in Baptist Bible College of Bethany - Makati in the Theology course last 2018 and became the current pastor of Bethany Baptist Church - Baybay.

In the ministries, it reminds us that serving God is more than just doing good works, it's about showing in real and practical ways. Thus, by sharing the Gospel, visiting our brethren, teaching and feeding the children is what makes us His hands and feet in this world. We should give our best in everything we do, not for the praise of others but for the Lord because there is no effort done for Him is ever wasted. So we must lovingly, truthfully and faithfully knowing that every small act of love can touch a heart and draw someone closer to God.

Our Story

BBC - Bethany Baptist Church formerly JCRBC - Jesus Christ the Rock Baptist Church, Baybay City is a mission church of JCRCM - Jesus Christ the Rock Christian Ministries in Christchurch, New Zealand under the leadership of Pastor Marzan C. Pitas a Filipino Pastor who married to a New Zealand citizen Filipina. JCRCM is a Filipino church and is commissioned by Riccarton Baptist Church, a local church in Christchurch New Zealand. The church in Baybay started last June 29, 2014, last Sunday of the month which is also the 5th anniversary of JCRCM, New Zealand. Pastor Marzan, with the partnership of Pastor Lucas M. Romano Jr. started the mission church in Leyte, Philippines after the church in New Zealand decided to help the victims of super typhoon Yolanda last November 2013. The Filipino church in Christchurch wants to start a mission in the said location and by the initiative of Pastor Marzan and Pastor Lucas, who by God’s grace have also been in Christchurch twice in year 2010 to 2012, later on commissioned by the Filipino church to start a mission work in Baybay City, Leyte with support from them financially. And later in the Year 2015, April 26, Pastor Marzan organized the mission in Leyte together with some of the members of Loakan Baptist Church, Baguio City as witnesses of the organization with 40 chartered baptized members.
