HAD YOU DECIDED TO QUIT FROM THE CHURCH OF CHRIST? You might need to read this!
(long post ahead, but this is a sign you should not miss 😊)
You know, the reality of life here on Earth... regardless of your status — whether you are wealthy or in poverty, powerful or in servitude, famous or forgotten, in relationship or it's complicated — it's always hard. But you do know (or don't know, you should know then) that it's HARDER if you are STUBBORN! You probably had a long list of reasons why you need to quit church.
But open your heart first or it will harden! Don't be hardheaded! Listen to these signs below and make sure to add them into your conviction:
1. DON'T LISTEN to ANYONE FROM THE WORLD — whether they are your best friends, your family, your colleagues — if they don't belong to God's true church and they're trying to convince you to stop being a Christian for whatever reason (church is boring, you can't do what you want when you're there, they will only offend you, you are nothing among them, etc...) — DON'T LISTEN! The fact is, they are corrupting your minds to make you forget that you are already born again in Christ Jesus, who made you a valuable, redeemed, forgiven, beloved, gifted Child of God. If you don't stand for your salvation, you will not stand either in front of God on Judgment Day. That's 💯 fact. No excuses. You won't find salvation either from the denominations, or other religions, other than the church of Christ, whom He bought with His own blood (Acts 20:28)
2. Instead, LISTEN to the constant calling of the Holy Spirit. LISTEN to the preaching of God's word. Read your Bible. Understand and take into heart the Christian advice with Bible as basis to rebuke and correct you of your wrongdoing (2 Timothy 3:16). It may irritate you, it may challenge your ego, it may hurt a little bit, or very much, but it will SAVE YOU ALWAYS from the tricks of the evil world. It is God's way of being faithful to His promise that nothing can separate you from His love (Romans 8:38-39).
⚠️Here's a SERIOUS WARNING: whoever may be God's instrument — who always remind you to not skip or make church fellowship an option, and who visited you not just once, but many times and you still remain STUBBORN and make soooo many excuses — someday they will stop irritating you. They will stop "annoying" you. But it's not that you are offending that person who has been God's instrument to save you from falling — you are offending GOD HIMSELF who did everything, sacrificed His Son so you'll have a sure faith and you'll be added to the church of Christ, His only saved people here on Earth. God will eventually pull away these people, His instruments, so He could use them to save millions of souls out there crying for salvation — the salvation that you have taken for granted.
Don't think that you're offending your fellow Christians by being STUBBORN as revenge for hurting you, God knows they are still human, they can't help but depend on God's grace to carry them through their imperfections and weaknesses! That's why they never stopped gathering as a Church because only in worshipping God can they overcome those deceitful human natures, which the worldly people outside Christ would only intensify/encourage/make worse in you.
If you really have decided (and not believe the signs stated above) to QUIT FROM THE CHURCH OF CHRIST... REMEMBER, it is NEVER their LOSS. It will NEVER BE GOD'S LOSS.
INSTEAD, IT'S YOUR LOSS.
⚠️ You will grieve the Holy Spirit, the one who puts the seal of God's ownership upon you, and who's been using your church leaders and fellow Christians to help you continue in the faith (Ephesians 4:30)
⚠️ To continue rejecting the Holy Spirit's effort to keep you in the faith, is blasphemy against the Holy Spirit, a sin that cannot be forgiven (Mark 3:28–30)
⚠️ You will then be disqualified from the race of faith (1 Corinthians 9:24-27, 2 Corinthians 13:5, Titus 1:16)
⚠️ Your name will be blotted out from the Lamb's Book of Life, the supposed to be only way for you to enter God's eternal home (Exodus 32:33, Revelation 3:5, 21:26-27)
⚠️ You will never find rest anymore... as God has sworn in His anger, because of your intentional rebellion against Him, you cannot enter His rest anymore (Psalm 95:11, Hebrews 3:11)
⚠️ There will be no more sacrifice left to save you, but you will be reserved for a sure eternal punishment for becoming an enemy/rebel of God and His church, the church of Christ (Hebrews 10:26-31)
⚠️ On Judgment Day, you will stand before God and be judged by the words of Christ, which you have already heard before when you became a Christian and added to the church of Christ (John 12:48)
⚠️ Since your name will never be found anymore in His Book, the Lamb's Book of Life, you will then be thrown into the Lake of Fire, the eternal punishment, the Second Death, reserved for you and for the evil ones who rebelled against God (Revelation 20:14-15)
WHAT SHALL YOU DO THEN?
While it's not too late, stop ignoring God. Stop ignoring His only one true church, the church of Christ. There is only one body. “There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism.” (Ephesians 4:4-5)
Again, you can't find that salvation in other religions, neither in other denominations founded on latter years by mere men. There is only one church wherein the only Lord, the only founder, the only Savior, is Jesus — and that is the church of Christ Himself.
Were you baptized in Christ and added to the church of Christ? And then you decided to stop? Think again and hear the Holy Spirit's prompting. Read these signs above, over and over and over again.
