3 SECRETS TO GROWING YOUR YOUTH MINISTRY ✨

Alam mo ba? Minsan akala ng iba na ang youth ministry is all about:

❌ pagiging pinaka-funny na speaker sa camp o fellowship

❌ having the coolest games na parang laging viral sa TikTok

❌ o kaya dapat laging updated sa trends para makasabay

Pero in reality, hindi ‘yon ang magpapatibay sa ating mga kabataan.

Merong mas malalim na pwedeng maging dahilan ng paglago.

Because youth ministry is really about:

🌱 Consistency – yung kahit umuulan, kahit pagod ka, you still show up.

At doon natututo yung mga youth na “wow, si Kuya/Ate consistent lang, inspired ako na magpatuloy din.”

🌱 Faithfulness sa Word – hindi lang puro hype.

Pero yung clear na tinuturo mo na may saysay ang buhay nila dahil may Diyos na nagmamahal sa kanila.

🌱 Safe space for real talk – minsan more than sa message, mas hinahanap nila kung may tao bang willing makinig sa kanila.

At yun ka dapat bilang leader.

Kaya huwag mong i-underestimate yung simpleng presence mo.

Because at the end of the day your presence matters more than your performance.

So I told you, but you would not listen. You rebelled against the Lord’s command and in your arrogance you marched up into the hill country. The Amorites who lived in those hills came out against you; they chased you like a swarm of bees and beat you down from Seir all the way to Hormah. You came back and wept before the Lord, but he paid no attention to your weeping and turned a deaf ear to you.

- DEUTERONOMY 1:43-45

Ang pagrerebelde ay hindi agad nagsisimula sa maling gawa; nagsisimula ito sa isang saradong pandinig, ang pagtangging makinig sa gabay ng Diyos. Kapag pinili nating huwag makinig, doon pumapasok ang Arrogance. Ginagawa tayong kampante ng kayabangan sa sarili nating galing, hanggang sa malimutan natin ang pinakaimportanteng susi sa tagumpay: Humility.

Humility is a Decision, Not a Feeling! Ang pagpapakumbaba ay hindi lamang isang emosyon; ito ay isang desisyon na sumuko sa kalooban ng Diyos. May malaking pagkakaiba ang taong umiiyak dahil sa Regret (panghihinayang dahil nahuli o naparusahan) at sa taong umiiyak para sa Repentance (tunay na pagsisisi dahil alam niyang nasaktan niya ang puso ng Ama).

Huwag nating hintayin na dumating ang "silence" o ang panahong tila hindi na nakikinig ang Diyos bago tayo magpakumbaba. Habang naririnig mo pa ang Kanyang tinig na tumatawag sa iyo, piliin mong mag-Repent at hindi lang basta mag-Regret.
