Today, August 20, 2026, the Visayas State University held its Organization Fair for student-led organizations, religious organizations, and Greek-lettered organizations. This activity serves as the avenue for the organizations to introduce their goals, and activities.

At the VSU - Armor of Light booth, the officers engaged the students, especially freshmen in trivia questions and shared free rosary beads and guides to them.

𝙒𝘼𝙆𝙀 𝙈𝘼𝙎𝙎 𝙁𝙊𝙍 𝙏𝙃𝙀 𝙇𝘼𝙏𝙀 𝘼𝙇𝙀𝙓𝘼𝙉𝘿𝙀𝙍 𝙅𝙃𝙊𝙉 𝙏𝙀𝙈𝙋𝙇𝘼✝️

The grieving family of Kuya Alex invites all Viscans, acquaintances, and interested individuals to join us in praying for his eternal rest through a wake mass. This wake mass is a spiritual offering to remember and recognize the selfless service that Kuya Alex had exerted for the Holy Spirit Parish, VSU, Baybay City, Leyte. Kuya Alex served the parish as a Psalmist and as the VSU-Armor of Light - Commission Head on Music.

This wake mass will be presided by the Holy Spirit Parish Priest, Rev. Fr. Dexter A. Sescon, to be sponsored by the Holy Spirit Parish Pastoral Council, VSU-Armor of Light, and the VSU - Office of the Vice President for Student Affairs and Services (OVPSAS).

The details of the wake mass are as follows:

Kuya Alex may have joined Our Creator today, but once he was a cheerful minister, a humble leader, and a trustworthy brother. His service provided a strong foundation to the VSU - Armor of Light Ministry.

Today, the VSU - Armor of Light remember the moments shared with Kuya Alex through a set of photographs. These are not just products of camera shutters, but remnants of a life well lived.

Today, July 4, 2026, the VSU - Armor of Light mourns the loss of our Commission Head on Music, Bro. Alexander Jhon Templa.

Kuya Alex was more than just a ministry officer; he was our friend, confidant, adviser, and our inspiration to pursue academic excellence amidst academic pressures.

His loss puts a huge void in the heart of the VSU - Armor of Light Ministry, and we are one with his family and friends in grieving during this time of unbearable pain.

You will always be in our hearts, Kuya Alex! Requiescat in Pace🕊
