BEWARE OF SOME SANTO NIÑO IMAGES

As Catholics, we honor the Santo Niño as the Child Jesus, a reminder of God’s love, humility, and mercy. Some images, like Santo Niño de la Suerte or Santo Niño de la Pera, have been promoted as symbols of luck, wealth, or material gain. While these may attract devotion, they can lead us away from the true purpose of our faith, which is to grow closer to Christ. Genuine devotion to the Santo Niño calls us to prayer, obedience, and imitation of His virtues. Let every act of veneration draw your heart to Jesus, not to worldly rewards.

✨ SINULOG SA PAROKYA 2026 ✨

With joy and thanksgiving, we invite everyone to our SINULOG SA PAROKYA 2026, a historic celebration as we gather for the first time as one united parish to honor Señor Santo Niño. All chapels come together in this meaningful expression of faith, devotion, and community.

🎶 Sinulog Street Dancing will be led and organized by the Parish Youth Ministry, adding vibrant movement and youthful energy to our celebration. During the parade, parishioners are welcome to bring small Sinulog (RED) flags, which are OPTIONAL, as a sign of joy and participation.

STREET PARADE ORDER:
1. Cross Bearer & Parish Banner
2. Drumbeat
3. Sinulog Dancers with Queen
4. Santo Niño Image
5. Parish Priest / Clergy / Sacristans / Altar Servers
6. Kids (Wearing Señor Sto. Niño-inspired attire)
7. Parishioners

Let us celebrate with reverence and unity. Children are encouraged to wear Señor Sto. Niño-inspired attire, while all attendees are requested to wear RED or WHITE, with RED strongly encouraged as a sign of devotion.

For those who have images of Señor Santo Niño, please bring ONLY those dressed in RED attire. No other colors are allowed for the images. The images will receive a special blessing by the priest after the Holy Mass.

Kindly note that:
🟥Sto. Niño images should be carried by their owners
🟥No images will be placed in front of the altar during the Mass
🟥The blessing will take place after the Mass

After the Holy Mass, a special blessing of Sto. Niño images will be conducted by REV. FR. RYAN JAY P. DEPOSOY.

May this first parish celebration of Sinulog strengthen our faith and unite us as one community.
