On this Silver Jubilee of your Episcopal Ordination, the faithful of the Archdiocese of Lingayen-Dagupan and the Church throughout the Philippines unite in heartfelt thanksgiving to Almighty God for the gift of your quarter-century of apostolic leadership.

Since the laying on of hands on August 31, 2001, your episcopal ministry has stood as a testament to your chosen motto, PAX—a steadfast commitment to bringing the peace of Christ into every corner of human life. From your foundational years as Auxiliary Bishop of Manila and Bishop of Balanga to your current shepherdship in Lingayen-Dagupan, your voice has consistently echoed the Gospel with courage, wisdom, and profound pastoral clarity.

In an era often marked by uncertainty and division, you have served not merely as a administrator of the Church, but as a true father, prophet, and shepherd. Your leadership—marked by deep Eucharistic devotion, a passionate call for ethical leadership, a commitment to priestly formation, and a tender heart for the poor—has guided countless souls closer to the heart of Christ. You have taught us that to shepherd is to bear the scent of the sheep, to speak the truth in love even when it is difficult, and to anchor our hope firmly in the Cross.

As you celebrate twenty-five years as a successor of the Apostles, we give thanks for your unyielding witness, your contemplative heart, and your generous fiat to the Lord.

⛪💚 PARISH YOUTH CAMP | 2ND SUNDAY 💚⛪
“Growing in Faith, Building Friendships, and Strengthening Our Community Through Sports!” 🙏🏐🏀

What an amazing and blessed 2nd Sunday of our Parish Youth Camp! ✨🙏 Once again, our young people gathered not only to spend time together, but also to strengthen their faith, build meaningful friendships, and experience the joy of being part of one parish youth community. 💚

This Sunday was filled with laughter, excitement, teamwork, and friendly competition as we continued our sports activities! 🏐🏀 The energy was truly alive as our youth participated in Volleyball – Boys and Girls and Basketball. From every serve, spike, pass, shot, and cheer, we witnessed the enthusiasm and determination of our young people. 🔥🙌

But beyond the games and competition, this activity reminded us that sports are not only about winning. They teach us valuable lessons about teamwork, discipline, patience, respect, perseverance, humility, and sportsmanship. 🤝❤️ Every game gave us an opportunity to encourage one another, celebrate each other's talents, and learn how to work together toward a common goal.

There were moments of excitement and pressure, moments of victory and defeat, but most importantly, there were moments of togetherness. 🫶✨ Whether on the court or on the sidelines, everyone became part of the experience. The cheers, smiles, encouragement, and laughter made this Sunday's gathering even more memorable.

Our Parish Youth Camp continues to remind us that being a young person of faith is not only about what we learn inside the church, but also about how we live out our faith in our relationships with others. Through fellowship and activities like these, we grow closer not only to one another but also to God. 🙏⛪

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who made this 2nd Sunday possible—our parish leaders, youth coordinators, facilitators, volunteers, parents, sponsors, and most especially, to all the young people who participated and gave their time and energy. 💚 Your support and presence make every activity more meaningful.

To all our youth, may we continue to carry the spirit of faith, friendship, unity, and sportsmanship wherever we go. Let us continue to grow together, serve together, and inspire one another to become better young people and faithful servants of God. 🌿🙏

Returning to the Heart of the Mission ❤️‍🔥 | Pre-Module 1

The journey has begun! 🙏✨

On August 16, 2026, we officially started our Pre-Module 1—the first of our three-Sunday Pre-Module sessions—with the theme “Refocus: Returning to the Heart of the Mission.”

We were blessed to have Ate MT “Tisay” Solomon Pidlaoan as our speaker, who shared an inspiring talk that reminded us to pause, reflect, and reconnect with the heart and purpose of our mission. The session also included a meaningful activity that encouraged our young people to engage, reflect, and grow together.

After the talk, the energy continued through Basketball and Volleyball, bringing together young people from the different barangays covered by San Lorenzo Ruiz Parish. 🏀🏐❤️

Beyond the games, this gathering is also part of our preparation for the upcoming Culminating Activity on September 5–6, 2026—a celebration of faith, fellowship, mission, and the gifts of our young people.

May these Sundays continue to help us refocus, reconnect, and return to the heart of our mission. Together, let us keep walking, serving, and growing in faith. 🙏❤️
