You want to step up your faith to become firm, but you don't want to take the little steps of growth is sarcasm. The Sunday School children always sing the song: 🎶 "Read your Bible, Pray everyday and you'll grow, grow, grow." 🎶

Back to Basic. If you want to grow do not ignore the basic yet vital part of growth.
