Freedom is not a license to live outside His will — it is an opportunity to choose the life He has designed for us.

From our 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐓𝐇 𝐀𝐍𝐃 𝐘𝐎𝐔𝐍𝐆 𝐀𝐃𝐔𝐋𝐓𝐒 𝐒𝐄𝐑𝐕𝐈𝐂𝐄 to our 𝐖𝐎𝐌𝐄𝐍 𝐅𝐄𝐋𝐋𝐎𝐖𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐏, may every gathering remind us that faith is more beautiful when shared.

When we truly believe God, our faith should influence what we say, what we do, and how we persevere.

Abraham believed God and obeyed, even when the instruction was difficult. (James 2:21-22) The two blind men believed and cried out. (Matthew 9:27-30) The woman with the issue of blood believed and reached for Jesus. (Matthew 9:20-22) The persistent widow believed and refused to stop asking. (Luke 18:1-8)

Faith believes.
Action responds.
Confession declares.
Consistency refuses to quit.

They didn’t just believe in their hearts. They acted on what they believed, spoke it boldly, and stayed persistent until they received what they were believing God for.

Israel was physically out of Egypt, but sometimes Egypt was still in their hearts. They had been delivered from slavery, yet when difficulty came, they began longing for what they had left behind. This reminds us that we can leave a place physically while still longing for it emotionally.

When the present becomes difficult, we tend to remember the past selectively. We remember what was comfortable but forget what was painful, and we remember what we had but forget what God delivered us from. Sometimes we look back not because the past was better, but simply because the present is harder. Those are not the same thing.

Keep moving forward. What God has promised is greater than what you left behind.

“Then the Lord said to Moses, “Why are you crying out to me? Tell the people to get moving!” (Exodus‬ ‭14‬:‭15‬ ‭NLT‬‬)

Stop throwing tantrums just because you’re angry, hurt, disappointed, or frustrated.

You can be angry and still choose gentleness.
You can be hurt and still choose forgiveness.
You can be disappointed and still choose self-control.

We all have emotions. But as followers of Christ, we are not called to be ruled by them.

Give yourself grace when you fail but don’t make excuses for staying the same.

Spiritual maturity is when your emotions speak but the Holy Spirit has the final word.

“But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self-control. Against such there is no law.” (Galatians‬ ‭5‬:‭22‬-‭23‬)
