There are children wandering and roaming the streets, sniffing rugby just to escape their pitiable situationโ€”victims of broken homes and families. Some are suffering from pain because of sickness, while others rebel due to irresponsible parents. These are the situations regarding children that we experience today. For our devotion to Sto. Niรฑo to become more active and meaningful, let us turn to these children and provide them with the proper care and nurture they need, so that they may grow and mature into loving and responsible individuals in the future.

May this day remind us to nurture love, generosity, and hopeful hearts within our families and communities.

As we celebrate the Niรฑoโ€™s light, let us carry a spirit of gratitude and kindness beyond the celebration. May blessings abound for everyone, and may we share that warmth, in acts big and small, just as He shared His mercy and joy with the world.

In His dark, burdened figure, we find a Savior who understands the weight of our own crossesโ€”our sicknesses, our poverty, and our silent battles. The sea of devotees and the waving of towels are not just traditions, but a powerful testament to a faith that endures pain and rises after every fall, proving that love is stronger than suffering.

The greatness of God's favor was made manifest in the gift of priesthood of our parish priest Rev. Fr. Samuel Joseph F. Banayat, Jr. who celebrated his 40th Sacerdotal Anniversary with a Thanksgiving Mass on December 23. The celebration brought together the people who journeyed with Fr. Sammy in his ministry - his family, the Bishops, brother priests, friends, former parishioners, and the parishioners of Sts. Peter and Paul Parish.

Its our collective prayer that God in His mercy will continue to bless, Apo Sammy as he shepherds us his flock.

Today, our hearts are full of joy as we celebrate the birthday of our dear Parochial Vicar, ๐‘๐ž๐ฏ. ๐…๐ซ. ๐„๐ฆ๐ฆ๐š๐ง๐ฎ๐ž๐ฅ ๐. ๐๐š๐ก๐ข๐ฐ๐š๐  whom we fondly call as ๐€๐ฉ๐จ ๐Œ๐š๐ง๐ง๐ฒ. We are so thankful for the kindness, wisdom, and hard work you give to our community every single day. You are a true blessing to all of us here at Sts. Peter and Paul Parish, Bauang.
