Today, we celebrate the gift of mothers—women whose love reflects the very heart of God. 💐
In the Bible, we see a powerful picture of a mother’s faith in the story of Hannah (1 Samuel 1). For years, she prayed earnestly for a child, pouring out her heart before the Lord. When God answered her prayer and gave her a son, Samuel, Hannah chose to dedicate him back to God. Her story reminds us that a mother’s love is not only seen in how she cares, but also in how she trusts God with what she loves the most.
Like Hannah, so many mothers today pray silently, sacrifice daily, and love unconditionally. They guide their children, lift them up in prayer, and entrust their future into God’s hands—even when it’s not easy.
I prayed for this child, and the Lord has granted me what I asked of Him.” – 1 Samuel 1:27
To all the mothers in our church and beyond, your faith is powerful, your love is selfless, and your prayers make a difference. You are a blessing to your families and a reflection of God’s grace in this world.
