VYC 2026 | A WEEKEND TO REMEMBER

The Holy Child Parish – Commission on Youth (HCP-COY) is grateful for the wonderful experience we shared during the Vicarial Youth Camp 2026 in Esperanza, Matalom.

From the activities, conversations, laughter, and moments of prayer, the camp gave our youth an opportunity to grow in faith, build new friendships, and create memories together with fellow young people from the Hilongos Vicariate.

We would also like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to all our sponsors, donors, and everyone who supported our youth in making this experience possible. Your generosity and support mean so much to us and helped make VYC 2026 a memorable experience for our young people.

To everyone who became part of this journey, daghang salamat!

Here are some moments from our VYC 2026 experience.

Padayon, mga KALAKBAI!

The bags are packed, preparations are done, and the youth of Holy Child Parish – Commission on Youth (HCP-COY) are ready for the Vicarial Youth Camp 2026.

We’re heading to Esperanza, Matalom for a weekend of faith, fellowship, fun, and new memories with fellow young people from the Hilongos Vicariate.

As we make our way to camp, may we carry with us open hearts, joyful spirits, and the courage to live out this year’s call:

Yesterday, September 8, the 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐲 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐡 – 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐧 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 (𝐇𝐂𝐏-𝐂𝐎𝐘) held our 𝑹𝒐𝒔𝒆𝒔 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑴𝒂𝒓𝒚 𝑰𝑮𝑷 during the early morning Mass and procession celebrating the birthday of Mama Mary.

The youth sold roses which were later offered during the Holy Mass as a simple expression of our love and devotion to our Blessed Mother.

After the Mass, the youth also helped in the distribution of Pamainit to our fellow parishioners.

Thank you to everyone who supported our IGP and to all the youth who gave their time and effort to make yesterday’s celebration meaningful. ❤️

The 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐲 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐡-𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐧 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 (𝐇𝐂𝐏-𝐂𝐎𝐘) will be having our annual income generating project (IGP) “𝑹𝑶𝑺𝑬𝑺 𝒇𝒐𝒓 𝑴𝑨𝑹𝒀". Each stalk is priced at 𝐏𝐡𝐏𝟒𝟎.𝟎𝟎. These roses will be offered as part of celebrating the birthday of our beloved Mother Mary.

We are starting to accept pre-orders. You can message us directly, comment, or approach any youth leaders in our parish. We will also be having a stall at the front of the parish's main door (Pulta de Mayor) for walk-in orders.

We're looking forward and has been always grateful for your continuous and unending support. Thank you so much and God bless us all.

Yesterday, the 𝐇𝐨𝐥𝐲 𝐂𝐡𝐢𝐥𝐝 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐡 – 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐧 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 (𝐇𝐂𝐏-𝐂𝐎𝐘) came together to clean and prepare our newly given Youth Office. What was once an unused space is slowly becoming a place where young people can gather, plan, serve, and grow together. ❤️

There are still many things that need to be fixed, arranged, and improved, but little by little, we will work together to make this space a welcoming and meaningful home for the youth. Soon, everything will be properly arranged and prepared for the different activities and needs of the ministry. 🛠️✨

Our heartfelt thanks to all the helpful hands who shared their time, energy, and effort yesterday. Your willingness to serve and lend a hand made this first step possible. 🙏❤️

May this new space become a place of fellowship, creativity, service, leadership, and faith—where young people can come together, build friendships, and continue serving our parish.

A little cleaning today, a meaningful space for tomorrow. 🧹❤️

PARISH YOUTH TEAM BUILDING 2026 🌈🤝

The Holy Child Parish – Commission on Youth (HCP-COY) was blessed to gather with the youth leaders of the parish for a meaningful Parish Youth Team Building held on August 31, 2026, at Echevarre Beach Resort.

The gathering was graciously blessed by Rev. Fr. Angelito, reminding us that our service and leadership are rooted in faith, fellowship, and our shared mission for the youth.

After the blessing, everyone enjoyed a simple yet meaningful lunch together, bringing together the different youth leaders of the parish in a spirit of friendship and community. 🍽️❤️

The afternoon continued with exciting team-building games and activities, designed to strengthen our communication, cooperation, trust, and camaraderie as youth leaders. More than just games, it was an opportunity to learn from one another, build stronger relationships, and grow together as one parish youth community. 💪✨

May this experience inspire us to continue serving, leading, and journeying together for the youth of our parish.

One Parish. One Youth. One Mission.
