"When the time is right, I, the Lord, will make it happen." — Isaiah 60:22
Can I be honest?
Waiting is hard.
Especially when you've prayed.
Believed.
Worked hard.
Stayed faithful.
Yet nothing seems to be moving.
You see others getting the opportunity you hoped for.
The breakthrough you prayed for.
The blessing you've been waiting years to receive.
And sometimes you quietly ask,
"Lord, when will it be my turn?"
Isaiah 60:22 contains a powerful promise:
"When the time is right, I, the Lord, will make it happen."
Notice that God didn't simply say,
"I will make it happen."
He said,
"When the time is right."
Because God is not only concerned about what He gives us.
He is also concerned about when He gives it.
A seed planted today does not become a tree tomorrow.
A child does not become an adult overnight.
Even Jesus spent thirty years preparing before three years of public ministry.
God's timing is never accidental.
Sometimes the delay is preparation.
Sometimes the waiting is protection.
Sometimes God is working on things we cannot yet see.
We often pray,
"Lord, change my situation."
But while we're focused on the situation,
God may be focused on changing us.
The truth is,
many blessings become burdens when received before their appointed time.
So if you're in a season of waiting,
don't mistake God's silence for God's absence.
Just because nothing seems to be happening
doesn't mean God isn't working.
He sees every prayer.
Every tear.
Every act of faithfulness.
Every moment you've chosen to trust Him.
And when His perfect time arrives,
what He has promised will come to pass.
Not late.
Not early.
Right on time.
Because God's delays are not God's denials.
And when the time is right,
He will make it happen.
