YESTERDAY’S RECAP ⚡️
POV: You came to learn about the spirit, soul, and body… and realized God doesn’t just want to change what you do—He wants to transform you from the inside out. 👀
Here’s what we learned:
🤍𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀 𝗽𝗮𝗶𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗶𝗰𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗮𝗸𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗻’𝘀 𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁 𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗼 𝗚𝗼𝗱.
Through Christ, we have full access to God, and in Him we have been made holy and blameless.

🧠 𝗕𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗼𝗿𝗻 𝗮𝗴𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝗱𝗼𝗲𝘀𝗻’𝘁 𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱.
Even though we are born again, the soul—our mind, will, and emotions—still needs to be renewed. That’s why we need to renew our minds so that our thoughts, will, and emotions can come into alignment with God's Word.

📖 𝗥𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗪𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁.
We are transformed as our minds are renewed by the truth of God's Word and as we pray in the Spirit.

🔥 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝘆 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁 𝗱𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂.
The indwelling of the Holy Spirit happens when we receive Christ. And Scripture calls us to continually be filled with the Holy Spirit.

🎯 𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗽𝘂𝗿𝗽𝗼𝘀𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝘂𝘀.
God prepared good works for us to walk in. But we cannot live out His calling by our own strength. We need the power and leading of the Holy Spirit.

🙌🏻 𝗪𝗲 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝘆 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗲𝗳𝗳𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗹𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗮𝗻 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲.
Apart from Christ, we can do nothing. The Holy Spirit empowers us, guides us, and helps us in our weakness.

🫶🏻 𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝗴𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗳𝗶𝘃𝗲-𝗳𝗼𝗹𝗱 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗿𝘆 𝘁𝗼 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽 𝘂𝘀 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄.
The five-fold ministry equips the saints and helps the body of Christ come to the unity of the faith and the knowledge of the Son of God.
📖 Ephesians 4:11-13
💎 𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝘂𝘀 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘆 𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗯𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗻𝗹𝘆 𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗰𝗲𝘀.
We need wisdom and knowledge to understand what God has given us in Christ and to know the grace and calling He has placed before us.

⬆️ 𝗚𝗼𝗱’𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗵𝗶𝗴𝗵𝗲𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗮𝗻 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁𝘀.
God's ways are higher than human ways. His wisdom is completely different from the wisdom of this world. But the Spirit of God reveals the things of God to us.
📖 Isaiah 55:8-9 | 1 Corinthians 2:10-13
🌱 𝗚𝗼𝗱𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗳𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴𝘀.
The Word of God is the master key for this Christian life. As we grow in the Word and in our knowledge of God, transformation happens on the inside.
It changes the way we think and affects our will and desires.
📖 1 Timothy 4:8 | 2 Timothy 3:16-17
🙏🏻 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝘀𝗲𝗰𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳 𝘁𝗼 𝗚𝗼𝗱.
Consecration means separating yourself from the world and focusing yourself on God. When we are in Christ, we no longer live simply to please ourselves. We submit our will to God's will.
📖 Romans 12:1-2 | Galatians 2:20
🌿 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀 𝘀𝘂𝗯𝗺𝗶𝘁𝘁𝗲𝗱 𝗛𝗶𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝘁𝗼 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗙𝗮𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿.
In the Garden of Gethsemane, Jesus experienced deep anguish, yet He prayed:
“Not My will, but Yours, be done.”
God's will may be uncomfortable for our flesh at the beginning, but following His will is better than following our own.

🧠 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗹 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗹𝗱 𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗴𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗺𝗮𝗻.
Our thoughts, will, and emotions should not be governed by the flesh. We are called to walk according to the Spirit. That’s why we need to renew our minds—to bring our thinking into submission to God's truth.
📖 Romans 8:5-6 | Galatians 5:16 | Romans 12:2
💡 𝗪𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝘀𝗱𝗼𝗺, 𝗮𝘀𝗸 𝗚𝗼𝗱.
When you ask, believe that you receive. When you need wisdom, ask God. He gives generously to those who ask Him.
📖 Mark 11:24 | James 1:5
🌱 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗮𝗹𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝗳 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗼𝘂𝗹 𝗶𝗻𝘃𝗼𝗹𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘄𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱𝘀.
As we continue to receive God's Word and allow Him to transform us, our thoughts, desires, and actions begin to change.
📖 Romans 12:2 | James 1:21 | 1 Peter 1:22
🌾 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝘀𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗯𝗼𝗱𝘆.
Paul uses a seed to explain the resurrection. A seed is sown, and God gives it a body as He pleases. There are different kinds of flesh and different kinds of glory.
📖 1 Corinthians 15:35-41
✨ 𝗪𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗮 𝘀𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘂𝗮𝗹 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗼𝗿𝗿𝘂𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝗯𝗼𝗱𝘆.
Because of Adam, humanity became subject to corruption and death. But the body that is raised will be incorruptible, glorious, and powerful.
📖 1 Corinthians 15:42-44
👑 𝗔𝗱𝗮𝗺 𝘄𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗯𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴. 𝗝𝗲𝘀𝘂𝘀 𝗶𝘀 𝗮 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲-𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁.
In the natural, we bear the image of Adam. But in Christ, we will bear the image of the heavenly Man. The end goal is to be like Jesus.
📖 1 Corinthians 15:45-49 | Romans 8:29
🌤️ 𝗙𝗹𝗲𝘀𝗵 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗯𝗹𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗰𝗮𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗸𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗱𝗼𝗺 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗼𝗱.
Our present corruptible body cannot inherit God's kingdom. We must be born again, and ultimately, we will be changed.
📖 1 Corinthians 15:50-52 | John 3:3-6
⚡ 𝗪𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗲𝗱.
Not everyone will experience physical death before Christ returns. At the last trumpet, we will be changed “in the twinkling of an eye.”
📖 1 Corinthians 15:51-52
☁️ 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗱 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗺𝗲, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝗶𝘀 𝗽𝗲𝗼𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗯𝗲 𝗰𝗮𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁 𝘂𝗽 𝘁𝗼 𝗺𝗲𝗲𝘁 𝗛𝗶𝗺.
Those who have died in Christ will rise first, and those who are alive will be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air.
📖 1 Thessalonians 4:13-17
🏠 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗰𝗶𝘁𝗶𝘇𝗲𝗻𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝘃𝗲𝗻.
We are pilgrims here on earth. Our hope is not ultimately in this present world but in Christ and the eternal life He has promised. Christ will transform our lowly body to be conformed to His glorious body.
📖 Philippians 3:20-21 | 1 Peter 2:11
🔥 𝗗𝗲𝗮𝘁𝗵 𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝘄𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝗲𝗱 𝘂𝗽 𝗶𝗻 𝘃𝗶𝗰𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆.
At the last trumpet, we will receive incorruptible bodies, and death will no longer have the final word. So while we wait, be steadfast, immovable, and always abounding in the work of the Lord.
📖 1 Corinthians 15:52-58
⏳ 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝘁𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝗵𝗲𝗿𝗲 𝗶𝘀 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁.
We don't know the day or hour of Christ's return, so we are called to remain watchful and faithful.
📖 Matthew 24:36, 42 | 1 Corinthians 15:58
🙌🏻 𝗣𝗿𝗲𝘀𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗼𝗱𝘆 𝗮𝘀 𝗮 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗮𝗰𝗿𝗶𝗳𝗶𝗰𝗲.
Our bodies belong to God. We are called to present them to Him as holy and acceptable.
📖 Romans 12:1
🏛️ 𝗬𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗼𝗱𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗚𝗼𝗱.
The Holy Spirit dwells in us. Therefore, our bodies are holy and should be used to glorify God.
📖 1 Corinthians 3:16-17 | 1 Corinthians 6:19-20
⚖️ 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝘄𝗲𝗹𝗹-𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗮𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗼 𝗚𝗼𝗱.
We will all appear before the judgment seat of Christ. So make it your aim to please Him with your life.
📖 2 Corinthians 5:9-11
🏕️ 𝗧𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗵𝗹𝘆 𝗯𝗼𝗱𝘆 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗲𝗺𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗮𝗿𝘆.
Even though we have this natural body, we have the hope of an eternal dwelling from God. Our present body is subject to mortality, but the Spirit gives life.
📖 2 Corinthians 5:1-7 | Romans 8:10-11
🔥 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝗳𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗺𝗼𝗿𝘁𝗮𝗹 𝗯𝗼𝗱𝘆.
The same Spirit who raised Jesus from the dead dwells in us and will also give life to our mortal bodies.
📖 Romans 8:11
🙏🏻 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗛𝗼𝗹𝘆 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁 𝗵𝗲𝗹𝗽𝘀 𝘂𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘄𝗲𝗮𝗸𝗻𝗲𝘀𝘀.
We don't always know what to pray for, but the Spirit helps us and intercedes for us according to the will of God.
📖 Romans 8:26-27
🗣️ 𝗣𝗿𝗮𝘆𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁.
Praying in tongues is described in Scripture as praying by the Spirit and can edify the believer. As we yield to the Holy Spirit, we learn to depend on Him rather than our own understanding.

❤️🩹 𝗢𝘂𝗿 𝗵𝗲𝗮𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗶𝘀 𝗳𝗿𝗼𝗺 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗟𝗼𝗿𝗱.
Jesus demonstrated God's compassion through healing, and Scripture teaches us to pray for those who are sick.
We study and hear God's Word because faith comes by hearing. We trust God for healing and submit the outcome to Him.
📖 Matthew 8:16-17 | James 5:14-15 | Romans 10:17
🛡️ 𝗚𝗼𝗱 𝗵𝗮𝘀 𝗴𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝘂𝘀 𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗵𝗼𝗿𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗶𝗻 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁.
Jesus gave His disciples authority, and we are called to walk in what He has entrusted to us while remaining submitted to His Word and His will.
📖 Luke 10:19 | Matthew 28:18-20
And through all of this, remember:
God didn't save us just to remain the same.
His Word renews our minds.
His Spirit teaches us to walk according to the Spirit.
He is conforming us to the image of His Son.
And one day, He will transform our mortal bodies.
𝗥𝗲𝗻𝗲𝘄 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗺𝗶𝗻𝗱. 𝗪𝗮𝗹𝗸 𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗦𝗽𝗶𝗿𝗶𝘁. 𝗦𝘂𝗯𝗺𝗶𝘁 𝘁𝗼 𝗚𝗼𝗱. 𝗟𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗛𝗶𝗺. 𝗪𝗮𝗶𝘁 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗖𝗵𝗿𝗶𝘀𝘁.
Because the goal is not just to know about Jesus.
𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗴𝗼𝗮𝗹 𝗶𝘀 𝘁𝗼 𝗯𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗛𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝗺𝗮𝗴𝗲. 🤍🔥
