God Is Still Working

“Being confident of this very thing, that He who has begun a good work in you will complete it until the day of Jesus Christ.” — Philippians 1:6

There are days when growth feels slow. You may look at your life and wonder if you’re making progress at all. Maybe you’re still struggling with the same fears, making the same mistakes, or waiting for answers that haven’t come yet.

But Philippians 1:6 reminds us that God is not finished with us. The work He started in your life wasn’t meant to be completed overnight. Just as a seed takes time to grow into a tree, God patiently shapes our character, strengthens our faith, and prepares us for His purpose.

Even when you can’t see it, God is working behind the scenes. Every lesson, every challenge, and every season has a purpose. Your current situation is not the final chapter of your story.

Today, choose to trust the One who began the work. He is faithful to finish what He started.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for never giving up on me. When I become discouraged or impatient, help me remember that You are still working in my life. Give me faith to trust Your timing and strength to keep following You each day. Thank You for Your faithfulness and love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

Today’s Reminder:
God is not finished with your story. Keep trusting Him—He is still working. 🤍📖

Our Daily Devotion (June 1, 2026)

Life often presents us with challenges that test our patience and faith. When we face trials, it's natural to feel overwhelmed or discouraged. Yet, this verse calls us to view these difficulties through a different lens as opportunities for growth. In Christian doctrine, trials are not meaningless hardships but tools God uses to strengthen our character and deepen our trust in Him. Just as gold is refined by fire, our faith is refined by the difficulties we endure. This process shapes us into more mature believers who can better reflect Christ's love and grace.

Reflection invites us to consider how we respond to obstacles. Do we complain and resist, or do we embrace them with hope, knowing they produce perseverance? Gratitude emerges when we recognize that even painful experiences have a divine purpose. Instead of focusing solely on the discomfort, we can thank God for the growth that comes through perseverance.

Community plays a vital role in this journey.
Sharing our struggles with fellow believers provides encouragement and accountability.
It reminds us that we are not alone and that the body of Christ supports us in our walk.
This collective strength helps us remain steadfast and joyful amidst trials.

Today, take a moment to reflect on a recent challenge. How might God be using it to shape your faith? Can you find reasons to be grateful even in difficulty? Consider reaching out to someone in your community who is struggling and offering support or a listening ear. In doing so, you embody the perseverance and love that trials are meant to cultivate.
How can you shift your perspective this week to see trials as stepping stones for spiritual growth rather than obstacles?

📖 “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.”
— 2 Corinthians 12:9

Our weaknesses do not disqualify us—they remind us of our need for God's grace.

When people point out your failures, remember: God's grace is still at work, and He is not finished with you yet.

🖍️ Broken crayons still color. Likewise, God can still use imperfect people for His perfect purpose.

“But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was beaten for our transgressors.” He was punished so that we can have peace, and by his wounds we are healed. ”
— Isaiah 53:5

Jesus showed ultimate love by His suffering for us. Not only does He bring physical wellness but also wellness of heart, mind, and soul.

In times of sickness, trouble, or weakness, let us learn to approach God with faith. Let's entrust our lives to Him because He is our true healer and our hope giver.

Prayer:
Lord, thank you so much for Your love and sacrifice. Touch all those who are sick and give them strength and healing. Strengthen our faith too so that we may continue to trust You. In Jesus Name, Amen.

Our Daily Devotion (May 30, 2026)

Our Daily Devotion (May 29, 2026)

“For whoever has a teachable heart, to him more understanding will be given; and whoever does not have a yearning for truth, even what he has will be taken away from him.”
— ‭‭Mark‬ ‭4‬:‭25‬ ‭(AMP‬‬)

Ito ang last verse after maituro ni Jesus 'yong parable of the sower—the story about seeds falling on different types of soil, na symbolism din ng condition ng mga puso or isipan ng mga nakakarinig sa Kaniyang mga sinabi—hard paths (saradong isip) rocky ground (ningas-kugon na pag-iisip), thorns (isip na distracted ng mundo), and good soil (bukas na puso at isipan; teachable heart).

When Jesus taught about this, He wanted those who had heard Him to have a heart check. He wanted them to have their morals and spirits in alignment with God's kingdom.

Just like good soil, if we approach life with humility, a desire to learn, and a hunger for what is true, the Lord meets us there. Lumalawak 'yong pang-unawa natin. We get wiser, more discerning, yet still very much grounded.

If we were to have an unteachable heart, may tendency na maging hindi reliable ang moral compass natin. 'Yong limited na truth or decency na meron tayo from the start slowly erodes until we can no longer tell right from wrong.

Kapag tumingin tayo sa paligid, especially sa ating bansa—where challenges like systemic corruption, extrajudicial violence, and disinformation—this passage speaks directly to the choices we, regular citizens, face every day.

We might say, "Ganyan na talaga eh, wala na tayong magagawa".

Jesus warns us against this exact mindset. When we stop yearning for the truth because the reality is too painful or exhausting, we risk losing God's mandate of justice. Our empathy for victims of violence and our standards for leadership ay unti-unting nawawala just because we stopped fighting for what is true.

Jesus offers us a promise of hope. If we keep a teachable heart and hold onto truth, more will be given. We become good soil, and the world flourishes with the goodness of God. 🕊️

Filled and Bold

Acts 4:31 (ESV)
“And when they had prayed, the place in which they were gathered together was shaken, and they were all filled with the Holy Spirit and continued to speak the word of God with boldness.”

Kapag napapagod tayo, natatakot, o feeling natin hindi tayo enough—prayer changes us. God strengthens our hearts and reminds us na hindi tayo nag-iisa.

Minsan hindi agad nababago yung situation natin, pero binabago tayo ni Lord from the inside. He gives us courage, peace, and strength to continue.

Prayer may not always change the place immediately, but it changes the people praying. 🙏

Prayer
Lord, fill me with Your Holy Spirit. Give me boldness to live for You and speak Your truth with love. Amen.

Our Sunday Service (May 24, 2026)

John 11 tells us of Lazarus, and how—by the people's faith—Jesus brought him back to life.

This story reminds us that:

God is still working even in silence.

Jesus is greater than impossible situations.

Faith sees beyond the grave.

Miracles happen when we trust Him.

God Looks Beyond What People See

“People look at the outward appearance, but the Lord looks at the heart.”
— 1 Samuel 16:7

Minsan no matter how much effort we give, parang hindi pa rin tayo napapansin. Kailangan magaling, presentable, successful, or “okay” lagi.

Pero itong verse na ito reminds us of something comforting: hindi tumitingin si God sa panlabas lang.

Alam Niya yung silent battles mo. Yung pagod na hindi mo sinasabi. Yung kabutihan mong hindi napapansin ng iba. At kahit minsan feeling mo ordinary ka lang, God can still use you in extraordinary ways just like David, who was once overlooked by everyone else.

You don’t have to become someone else just to be valuable. Sometimes, habang tahimik kang lumalaban at nagpapatuloy, God is already pleased with your heart.

Prayer:
Lord, thank You because You see the real me. Kahit hindi ako maintindihan ng ibang tao, You know my heart completely. Help me stop seeking validation from people and remind me that my worth comes from You. Shape my heart to become more like Yours every day. Amen.

"God Sees Your Silent Battles"

“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
— Matthew 11:28

Sabi Niya, “Come to Me.”

And He cares deeply about you.

Minsan gusto natin tayo agad mag-solve ng lahat, pero God is inviting us to rest in Him — hindi ibig sabihin titigil ka na, kundi hindi mo kailangang dalhin lahat mag-isa.

Today, remember this:
Hindi ka forgotten. Hindi ka alone. At hindi sayang yung pagtitiis mo. God is working even in seasons na hindi mo pa makita yung results.

Prayer:
Lord, thank You because You see every silent battle in my heart. Give me peace, strength, and hope for today. Help me trust You kahit hindi ko pa naiintindihan lahat. In Jesus’ name, Amen. 🙏
