COAST GUARD ECUMENICAL CHAPLAIN SERVICE SOUTHERN TAGALOG(CGECHS-STL) EXTENDS HUMANITARIAN ASSISTANCE THROUGH OUTREACH PROGRAM TO THE INDIGENOUS STUDENTS IN AURORA.

Under the leadership of its esteemed Commander,Coast Guard District Southern Tagalog(CGDSTL), CGECHS-STL as his Operational Control, conducted a humanitarian assistance activity through the distribution of food packs to the Katutubong Dumagat and Indigent of Diteki Elementary School,Brgy.Diteki,San Luis,Aurora today,February 3,2026.

Crossing the borders of Coast Guard District Southern Tagalog(CGDSTL)to Coast Guard District North Eastern Luzon (CGDNELZN) to reached the Indigenous Communities of Aurora Province particularly to the Municipality of San Luis, this is in connection with the upcoming 43rd Founding Anniversary of CGDSTL, Outreach Program are one of the series of Pre-Anniversary activities. This initiative, essential relief goods containing canned goods, rice packs, and noodles were delivered directly to the pupils,fostering hope through fun games and feeding program.
The said Outreach Program being realized through collective effort during the conduct of Misa de Gallo 2025 Offering of In-kind from the different Stations of CGDSTL,Opcon Units,District Staff and generous Parish Priest and parishioners of Santa Rita de Cascia Parish,Bolbok,Batangas City.

This humanitarian activity underscores CGDSTL and CGECHS-STL dedication by extending compassion and service to the Indigenous Community as to the Synodal Church among Catholic faithful as part of its social responsibility.
