With hearts filled with faith and joy, the Squirettes of Mary Immaculate – Mater Purissima Circlette joined the solemn procession in honor of La Purísima. What began at 9:30 AM from Max’s Restaurant to the Basilica became a beautiful journey of prayer, music, culture, and Marian devotion.

We were blessed to witness a choir performance led by Batangas State University’s Ad Libitum Chorus, followed by a solemn and meaningful dance performance by the Subli Dancers Community. 🎶✨

At the Basilica, we joined in singing Awit Para Kay Maria as flowers were offered through the dancers. We proudly waved our white, blue, and yellow flags as we welcomed the La Purísima, or the callejera image, together with the Santo Niño in the procession. 🌼💙

As we entered the Basilica for the celebration, beginning with the entrance hymn, prayer, Gospel reading, and homily led by Rev. Fr. Tom Villafranca. We were also blessed to hear from a representative of the Confradia Immaculada, who shared the history and beginnings of the Basilica and its chapel, reminding us of the rich faith and devotion that have been passed down through generations.

More than a procession, this was a reminder that our devotion to Mary is not only something we carry in our hearts, but something we proudly live and share as young women of faith. 🌹

With the chaos and distractions around us, the Squirette attendees of the 5th SMI Luzon Area Conference in Lumban, Laguna, June 7-8, 2025, were equipped with tools, wisdom, and inspiration to care for ourselves and others with compassion and faith, guiding us to navigate life not only with a strong mind but also with a holy heart. 💫💙

This event reminded us that mental health isn’t just a topic — it’s a mission. It is our duty to be aware, informed, and ready to offer comfort and understanding to others. We, the Squirettes, engaged in meaningful dialogues with our peers and seniors in the organization, gaining new experiences and receiving well-earned advice that will guide us in our journey.

Brimming with poise and grandeur, the conference made us shine with our own innate confidence and beauty during the enchanting soiree with the theme, "SMI as Pilgrims of Hope in the Jubilee Years". ✨ It was a moment of empowerment as many talents graced the stage with their graceful waltzes and heartfelt voices.

The next morning, we were greeted with an energetic Zumba session, followed by a refreshing splash of fun in the pool, recharging our tired bodies but keeping our hearts and minds active. 💦💙

To end the event with the true spirit of SMI, we reverently participated in the Holy Mass and wished safe travels and lasting friendships to the amazing people we met along the way. As we said our goodbyes with hearts full of knowledge, hope, and faith, we carried home the belief that we can weather any storm and move mountains with renewed purpose and unwavering conviction. 🌟🙏

With grateful hearts, we successfully concluded “Fit in Faith: Celebrating Health and Grace Through Zumba” last April 26, 2025, at the Batangas City Community Park.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and shared their time, energy, and enthusiasm throughout the activity. It was truly inspiring to see the community come together to promote not only physical wellness but also faith, fellowship, and joy.❤️

May this event remind us that taking care of our health is also a way of honoring the gifts God has entrusted to us. We are grateful for every participant, volunteer, and supporter who helped make this activity a meaningful and memorable success. 🙏🏻✨

Until our next activity, let us continue to live healthy, stay active, and grow stronger in faith.

Celebrating new beginnings and opening new opportunities for our newly invested Squirettes and installed officers after dedicated efforts and practices is the highlight of the endeavors last March 8, 2026. 💖

To officially begin the calendar year 2026, the Squirettes of Mary Immaculate - Mater Purissima Circlette conducted the Investiture of New Members and Installation of New Officers. With this, joys are high and fresh ideas are on sight as new minds connect and create visions that will become realities for the year ahead. 🌱💡

The ceremony was graced by our Archdiocesan Regent, Tita DMI Vissia De Guzman, who delivered her inspiring congratulatory message and warm wishes to each and every new member of SMI. Her presence added solemnity and honor to the occasion, creating an atmosphere that signifies a promising and productive year. 🙏✨

The celebration concluded with an abundance of food shared among members and guests of the Squirettes, making the fruits of everyone’s labor even more meaningful and fulfilling. As the Squirettes dined, new plans and agendas were made with Lady Counselor Kim Mendoza, who reminded them that there are always more opportunities to improve after processing today’s mistakes and mishaps, serving as a reminder that true efforts remain essential in facing new and upcoming challenges. 🍽️🤍
