God did not promise us a life of poverty, but rather prosperity! God desires that we have prosperous and successful lives. He wants to give his wealth to his sons and daughters according to His riches.

However, in order to receive God's promise of prosperity, we must first have a prosper soul! We should fill it with His spirit and with His words, and thereby serve him completely. When we've come to reach the point of having a prosperous soul that God has been waiting for, that's the very moment when God will bless us with more abundant life!
