Ito ang sinasabi sa 2 Cor. 1:20, “For as many as are the promises of God, in Him they are yes; therefore also through Him is our Amen to the glory of God through us.”
Ginagarantiyahan nito that we won’t lose salvation.
Paano?
Una, every saving promise is already “Yes” in Jesus. Hindi nangangako ang Diyos sa atin contingent on our ongoing performance; He made them to His Son and included us in Him.
Kung ang mga pangako Niya ay “Yes” in Christ, then habang nabubuhay si Jesus, the answer about our salvation stays Yes.
Ikalawa, our role is Amen, not maintenance. Nagdedeklara tayo ng “Amen”—nakikiisa tayo with what God has already secured in Christ. Hindi tayo mga co-signers who can void the contract.
Ikatlo, the immediate context anchors us: God establishes us in Christ, anoints us, seals us, and gives us the Spirit as a pledge (2 Cor. 1:21–22).
Kapag may divine seal and pledge, ibig sabihin guaranteed ang delivery to the day of redemption.
Saktong-sakto ang mga katotohanang ito sa bigger picture: by one offering He perfected us for all time (Heb. 10:14), sealed na tayong mga tunay na Cristiano with the Spirit as a guarantee of our inheritance (Eph. 1:13–14), at wala nang condemnation for those in Christ (Rom. 8:1).
With the promises locked in Christ tapos ang lahat ng kasalanan natin ay fully taken away, wala nang basis for loss.
Bottom line: God’s promises are not “maybe” in us; they are “Yes” in Jesus.
Tayo ay sumasaKanya—sealed, secured, and kept—kaya naman ang tugon sa ating kaligtasan ay di nagbabago.
Tara nang mamahinga sa mayamang biyaya ng Diyos kapwa ko lehitimong mananampalataya.
