​The energy continues to soar as Week 02 brings even higher stakes and bigger excitement! Players took to the court as the basketball and volleyball games swung into full gear. From heart-pounding spikes and clutch shots to intense plays on every court, the Bosconian spirit, teamwork, and sportsmanship shone through every single match.

IBALIK AT BIGYAN NG SAPAT NA ORAS ANG CATECHESIS SA MGA PAARALAN

Hindi madali ang pagiging magulang sa panahon ngayon. Sa gitna ng mabilis na pagbabago ng lipunan, lumalaking impluwensya ng social media, at iba't ibang hamon na kinakaharap ng kabataan, higit kailanman ay kailangan ng mga magulang ang suporta at katuwang sa paghubog ng kanilang mga anak.

Ang Catechesis ay mahalagang katuwang ng pamilya sa pagtuturo ng pananampalataya, mabuting asal, moralidad, disiplina, at wastong pagpapahalaga. Ito ay hindi lamang pagtuturo ng doktrina kundi paghubog ng buong pagkatao upang maging responsable, makatao, makabayan, at maka-Diyos na mamamayan.

Alinsunod sa mga umiiral na batas at patakaran ng Department of Education, nararapat lamang na mabigyan ng pagkakataon ang mga mag-aaral na makatanggap ng programang pangrelihiyon tulad ng Catechesis, nang may paggalang sa karapatan ng bawat isa at sa prinsipyong nakasaad sa ating Saligang Batas.

Sa maraming paaralan, matagumpay na naipatutupad ang Catechesis sa pamamagitan ng pakikipagtulungan ng mga paaralan, magulang, at mga katekista. Subalit may mga pagkakataon ding nagiging hamon ang pagpapatupad nito dahil may mga School Head o Principal na hindi nagbibigay ng sapat na pagkakataon para rito, o kaya naman ay inilalagay lamang ito sa oras ng uwian kung kailan marami nang mag-aaral ang hindi makadadalo.

Dahil dito, hindi lubos na naisasakatuparan ang layunin ng Catechesis bilang mahalagang bahagi ng paghubog sa kabataan.

Nananawagan kami na pairalin ang paggalang, pagkakapantay-pantay, at patas na pagpapatupad ng mga umiiral na patakaran. Nawa'y hindi maging hadlang ang personal na paniniwala o relihiyon ng sinuman sa pagbibigay ng nararapat na pagkakataon para sa Catechesis sa mga paaralan.

Hinihiling namin sa Department of Education sa ilalim ng pamumuno ni Secretary Sonny Angara na pag-aralan at pagtibayin ang mga mekanismong magbibigay ng sapat, regular, at makabuluhang oras para sa Catechesis sa mga pampublikong paaralan kung saan ito ay pinahihintulutan at hinihiling ng mga magulang at komunidad.

Ang kabataan ang kinabukasan ng ating bayan. Ang kanilang mabuting paghubog ay isang sama-samang pananagutan ng pamilya, paaralan, simbahan, at lipunan.

Magtulungan tayo para sa mabuti, makatao, makabayan, at maka-Diyos na paghubog ng ating mga kabataan.

Prayer for the Safety of Our Students

Heavenly Father,
we entrust to You all our students as they learn, grow, and journey together in our school. Surround them with Your loving protection and keep them safe from every danger, harm, accident, violence, and evil.

Send Your holy angels to watch over them wherever they go. Give them wisdom to make good choices, courage to stand for what is right, and compassion to care for one another. Protect their minds from harmful influences, their hearts from fear and anxiety, and their bodies from illness and injury.

Bless our teachers, school personnel, and parents with patience, vigilance, and wisdom, so that they may guide and protect our young people with love.

Lord Jesus, be their light when they are uncertain, their strength when they are afraid, and their refuge in times of trouble. May our school community always be a place of peace, respect, friendship, and safety.

We entrust every student to the maternal care of Mary, our Mother. May she keep them close to her Son and lead them always toward goodness and holiness.

Amen.

Gratitude does not mean pretending that everything is okay. It simply gives your mind a moment to notice that even in difficult seasons, there may still be something small that feels good, meaningful, or okay.

Try pausing today and asking yourself: What is one small thing I can appreciate right now?

It could be:

A good conversation.
A quiet moment.
Something you accomplished.
A simple moment of comfort.

You do not have to ignore your problems to make room for something good. Sometimes, a small moment of gratitude helps the mind breathe.
