True Change Begins with Christ. ๐
2 Corinthians 5:17
"Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!"
When we allow the Lord to lead and take full control of our lives, He gradually transforms our hearts, attitudes, perspectives, and way of living. In Him, we find true peace and a life that is pleasing in His sight.
1. True change is reflected in our daily lives.
True change does not remain only in our words or in what we say, it is seen in our behavior, attitudes, and actions. As followers of Christ, we are called to put off our old self and put on the new selfโa life that reflects the will of God.
2. Change is a process.
A Christian's life does not change overnight. We face different trials and weaknesses throughout our journey. Nevertheless, it is important that we continue to remain in the Lord and in His presence. As we stay close to Him, He continues to shape and transform us, from our hearts to the way we live our lives.
3. With God, change is possible.
Nothing is impossible with the Lord. He has transformed many lives, and He continues to transform each one of us. Just like Peter, who, despite his weaknesses and shortcomings, was shaped and transformed by the Lord to become a faithful follower and servant of Christ. His life is a testimony that God can change anyone who is willing to trust in Him and follow His ways.
When we wholeheartedly entrust our lives to the Lord and allow Him to lead our decisions, we gradually experience the transformation that comes from Him. Through our surrender and trust in God, we find peace, fulfillment, and a life that is aligned with His purpose.
