The prudent sees danger and hides himself, but the simple go on and suffer for it. ~Proverbs 22:3

They say business is a risk.
We say business is a ~calculated risk.
To plan ahead of time and take time to sit down and look at your plans sincerely is essential in putting up social enterprises -- most especially when resources are meager and limited.

Today we reviewed the process of BOKASI's salabat production and found out that there are still avenues to improve their product quality and work flow efficiency in order to amplify their profits.

We also sat down and crafted our business plan which will be especially helpful in getting investments (both machineries and infrastructure) from government and other partner organizations.

While out on our meeting, we were surprised that upon coming back to their production house, the processing team actually initiated on conducting their own taste testing session to members of their community. They followed the process we just taught them yesterday. Talk about and !

To cap off the day, we did a consumer survey amongst their most loyal patrons and were able to harvest insightful comments on how they want their salabat tea made. Checking the pulse of the market is especially important if we want our DSAC products to stay relevant in the market and maintain their patronage.

Productive day with BOKASI and the DSAC Calbayog Team :)
Carrying the insights and learnings from our two-day sessions, DSAC Calbayog will be partnering with DTI for another quality enhancement session on the 30th.

PADAYON!
