🎨 Sunday School for Children (Week 4) 🎨
Title: God's People Honor God

Verse of the Week:
2 Corinthians 9:7b-8 NKJV
[7b] "For God loves a cheerful giver."
[8] "And God is able to make all grace abound toward you, that you, always having all sufficiency in all things, may have an abundance for every good work."

This week’s Sunday School focused on the beauty of cheerful giving and trusting in God’s provision. We explored the story of Jesus feeding the 5,000 with just five loaves of bread and two fish—a powerful reminder of how God multiplies what we offer in faith. The children also learned from the widow who gave her offering wholeheartedly, showing that it’s not about how much we give, but the heart behind it. Ang mga bata nakakat-on nga ang gugma sa Ginoo mosukli sa matag gugma nga ilang ihatag, ug pinaagi sa pagtuo, ang Ginoo maghatag ug pag-ayo nga walay kulang.

Through storytelling, singing, and sharing, they discovered how giving cheerfully and trusting God’s power allows Him to work miracles in our lives. "For God loves a cheerful giver"—these words have truly inspired the kids to embrace generosity as part of their walk in faith. ❤️

(Philippians 1:6: "He who began a good work in you will carry it on to completion until the day of Christ Jesus.")

🎨 Sunday School for Children (Week 3) 🎨

Verse of the Week:
John 3:16 NKJV
[16] For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

This week’s Sunday School was all about the birth of Jesus. We talked about how God showed His great love for us by sending His Son to the world. Ang mga bata nakatuon nga si Hesus gipakatawo aron mahimong manluluwas nato, ug ang iyang pag-abot mao ang sinugdanan sa pinakadako nga gugma sa kalibutan. Through reading, singing, and sharing, they understood that Jesus' birth is a reminder of God's promise to save us. "Kay gihigugma gayod sa Dios ang kalibotan..." (Juan 3:16).

As for our young leaders, they joyfully shared the story of Jesus’ birth with the children. They used fun and creative ways to explain how God showed His great love by sending His Son to be our Savior. Ang ilang pasensya, pagkamalipayong magtudlo, ug pagsalig sa Ginoo nagpakita unsa kaimportante ang pag-alagad sa kabataan, carrying the Mission and Vision of the ministry. Truly, they are living examples of 1 Timothy 4:12—“Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.”

Actually, I've been seeing those virtual side hustles on social media and I really think it might help distract me from those thoughts. And besides, I really need extra money 🥹🙏

LESSONS:
1. Sometimes, God responds with a "Yes, but I have another plan" - Many are the plans of a man but God's plan always prevail
2. Sometimes, you just gotta "Stick to the Script" - Just trust God! Praise the Lord even if the situation seems unfavourable - it should be our response to these kind of situation. Might be just a test 🤷
3. God is still at work. Even more so, in surprising ways imaginable (wa damha magkita pa ming Jasper 😆)
