IT WAS NEVER ABOUT US, BUT ALL BECAUSE OF GOD!

Three months ago, we showed up to two barangay schools with a simple conviction: that every child in Barbaza deserves to be fed, to be seen, and to know that their community stands behind them.

Today, September 21 at Brgy. Gua Elementary School, and September 22 at Brgy. Bahuyan-Yapo Elementary School, we close this chapter of Project Pag-Ulikid with full hearts and grateful hands raised to God.

What began as a feeding program became something far greater. Week after week, 226 children gathered not just for a warm bowl of Chicken Arrozcaldo, Sopas, fried rice with lumpia, they gathered to learn, to laugh, to grow, and to hear that they matter. That God sees them. That the police are not people to fear, but people who protect and serve. That honesty, kindness, courage, and responsibility are not just words, they are a way of life worth choosing. And today, its ALL ABOUT JESUS CHRIST.

None of this would have been possible without the people God placed beside us:

To OIC PCPT ALLAN S ALAGOS, and the entire Barbaza Municipal Police Station, thank you for showing up in uniform not to intimidate, but to embrace.

To Mrs. Susan Pacheco Coloma of Brgy. Gua Elementary and Mr. Bernard Ben Ballenas of Brgy. Bahuyan-Yapo Elementary, thank you for opening your doors, your kitchens, your classrooms, and your hearts.

To PMSg Cleofe Mendoza Chleoff Mendz, PSSg Elmar Painaga El Ram, Municipal Advisory Group for Police Transformation and Development, — your dedication did not go unnoticed.

God did this. We simply said yes and made ourselves available.

And because He is faithful — we are not done. Project Pag-Ulikid now looks toward a new school, new children, and a new chapter. The umbrella stays open. The mission continues.

September 17, 2026. Barangay Gua, Barbaza, Antique.
31 Graduates. We still get excited thinking about it.

15 sessions ago, this was just an idea, a partnership between International Care Ministry and LIFE With Jesus Christ Church, hoping a barangay would say yes to something new.

And they did. Week after week, rain or shine, 31showed up to learn how to care for their health, manage their money, and build a livelihood, and honestly, only God could take that kind of quiet faithfulness and turn it into a graduation day this joyful.

Because let's be real, this wasn't just a program. This was God working through ICM, through LIFE Church, and through 31 people who chose to believe their lives could look different. Every lesson learned, every peso saved, every family that started planning instead of just surviving, that's His hand, using ordinary people to do something extraordinary in Barangay Gua.

And they're not stopping. This group has decided to venture into a Salted Eggs business together, turning what they saved and learned into an actual livelihood they'll build with their own hands. It's such a fitting next step: simple, practical, and something the whole barangay can be proud of.

To keep the momentum going, the group will meet every Friday at 3:00 PM to continue saving and to plan and carry out this business, together, because transformation doesn't end at graduation, it just gets to work.

And here's the best part, this story isn't done. This October 2026, the next ICM Transform Program launches in Brgy. Banban, Laua-an, Antique, where a whole new group will get to experience what Barangay Gua just lived through.

Thirty-one graduates today. A savings group with a business plan tomorrow. And another barangay stepping into the same journey next month. If that's not God building something beautiful, one barangay at a time, I don't know what is.

To God be the glory! And to the 31 Graduates of Barangay Gua: we are so proud of you. Keep going because our God is faithful to all His promises!

"DISCIPLINE ME, LORD — NOT TO BREAK ME, BUT TO BUILD ME."

Correction doesn't feel good in the moment. It stings. It humbles. Sometimes it embarrasses us.

But every parent who loves their child corrects them — not to punish, but to protect their future.

God's discipline is the same. It is proof that we belong to Him.

"No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it." — Hebrews 12:11

Don't run from His correction. Run toward it. It's love in disguise.

"LORD, I CAN'T CARRY THIS ANYMORE."

Some days the weight feels too heavy to hold. The bills. The waiting. The silence when you prayed and heaven felt far.

But you were never meant to carry it alone.

He is not asking you to be strong today. He is asking you to let go.

"Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you." — 1 Peter 5:7

If you're tired today, this is your reminder: bring it to Him. All of it.

🧵 UNBREAKABLE: TIED. TESTED. TOGETHER. 🧵
To God be all the glory — what an amazing day it was! 💛🙏

Our theme today was drawn straight from Scripture: "Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken" (Ecclesiastes 4:12). That's UNBREAKABLE — not standing alone, but tied together, with Christ as the third strand.

26 young leaders came together for a day of games, challenges, real talk, and real friendship, all under the goodness of God. From trust falls to blind walks to tower relays, our youth learned firsthand that some things are stronger built together than alone.

Three powerful messages carried the day, each one pointing back to Him:

🧵 The Cord of Three Strands — friendship and faith are good, but it's Christ who makes a life truly unbreakable.

⚙️ Iron Sharpens Iron — a true friend sharpens you to become more like Him.

✝️ Greater Love — the story of Jesus Christ Himself, who laid down His life for His friends. "Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends" (John 15:13). The ultimate example of unbreakable love, given to every young person in that room today.

PMSg Chleofe Mendoza of the Barbaza Municipal Police Station together with PSSg Elemar Painaga, closed out the program with a powerful closing message and a song about Jesus — a beautiful reminder that our youth are never walking this journey alone. The Barangay, the Police, and the Church stand with them, because God has placed them in our care.

To every young person who showed up today — thank you for trusting the process, tying the knot, and coming out unbreakable, in Christ. 🤝
