🙏 Saint of the Day — August 3
St. Lydia | A Faith That Opens the Home

St. Lydia was a seller of purple cloth in Philippi and one of the first people in Europe to accept the Gospel through the preaching of St. Paul. After her baptism, she opened her home to Paul and his companions. Her story is found in Acts 16:11–15, 40.

Lydia reminds us that faith is not meant to stay inside a church. Our homes, workplaces, and everyday lives can become places where others encounter God's love.

You don't have to be a priest or missionary to evangelize. Sometimes, it begins with welcoming someone, helping a neighbor, or simply living your faith with sincerity.

“Come and stay at my house.” — Acts 16:15

✨ Today's little mission: Give God a few quiet minutes today. Ask: “How can I make my home and daily life a place of faith?”
