[LOOK] Today, August 22, 2026, we spent the day from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM learning, laughing, and simply enjoying each other’s company.

More than just an orientation and team building, today was a reminder that ministry is better when we do it together. We may be different from one another, but we can always learn, grow, and serve side by side. ✨🫶

As we continue our PYM journey, may we always choose to enjoy the moment, value the people around us, and serve with a happy and willing heart. After all, the memories we make and the people we meet are also part of what makes ministry special. 💌

Thank you, KaDA and Ates and Kuyas from the Ministry for Youth Affairs.

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” — Philippians 4:13

The Parish Youth Ministry of Baras (PYM Baras) proudly sends its delegates to VYD Morong 2026, together with the youth delegates from the different parishes of the Vicariate of St. Jerome. 🩵

May this gathering be a beautiful celebration of faith & fellowship.

May our delegates carry with them not only memories, but also a renewed faith and a heart ready to serve. May this day remind us that wherever God calls the youth, there is always a purpose and a mission waiting to be embraced. ✨

[2/2] Through Mary, we journey. With St. Joseph, we serve. And always, all to Christ. ✨

The Parish Youth Day 2026, held on July 25–26, 2026 at St. Joseph Parish School, Baras, Rizal, brought together young people from different organizations and schools, united by one journey: “Kabataang Naglalakbay Kasama si Maria: Taglay ang Pag-asa, Hangad ay Kapayapaan.”

We are deeply grateful to our plenary speakers, Kuya JP and Bro. Nhel for sharing inspiring and meaningful reflections on youth leadership as a service to God and to the community of Baras. Your words reminded us that true leadership is not simply about being in front, but about being willing to serve, listen, give, and lead with love and humility. A heartfelt thank you as well to our 32 volunteers and 29 delegates, whose time, talents, energy, and wholehearted participation made this fellowship purposeful.

Our sincere gratitude goes to Rev. Fr. Rommel M. Felizardo, Shrine Rector and Parish Priest, together with our ever-supportive Church elders, for your guidance, generosity, and continued trust in the young people of our parish. Your support allows the youth to grow not only as individuals, but as a community of servants.

This year’s was made even more meaningful as we journey with Blessed Mother in celebration of the 400 years of the Arrival of the Image of Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage and her 100th Year of Canonical Coronation, while drawing inspiration from our patron, St. Joseph, whose quiet and faithful life teaches us what it means to serve with courage, humility, and love.

We are now up for the challenge! God bless us, Kabataan ni San Jose! ❤️‍🔥

It has been 2 days since our unforgettable 6th Parish Youth Day! As we continue to treasure the memories with our Kalakbay, let us once again revisit the heart and meaning of PYD 2026 through its official logo. ✨

The PYD 2026 Logo is anchored in the theme: “Kabataang Naglalakbay Kasama si Maria: Taglay ang Pag-asa, Hangad ay Kapayapaan.”

The centerpiece of the logo is the Our Lady of Peace and Good Voyage (Birhen ng Antipolo), honoring the 400th Anniversary of the Diocese of Antipolo and four centuries of devotion to Mary, our guide and companion in every journey of faith.

Beneath her are four youth figures carrying her image together, symbolizing the unity of the different communities participating in Parish Youth Day:
Green – Parish youth and church organizations
Yellow – Students from the parish school and other schools
Blue – Youth from other organizations and communities
Red – The people of Baras, Rizal, with whom participants will share in community immersion

Leading the procession is the lily, the symbol of St. Joseph, our patron, representing faithful leadership, humility, and protection.

The carrying beam forms a Cross, reminding us that every journey with Christ involves carrying our own crosses with hope.

Together with Mary, the youth walk as one Church, embracing their mission to become pilgrims of hope who strive for the peace that comes from Christ. 🩵
