AWANA Season 5 is moving at full speed, but our race isnโt just about making the fastest laps on the track! ๐๏ธ๐จ Today (July 29, 2026), our team stepped off the gaming floor and stepped directly into the gap at our churchโs Midweek Prayer Meeting! ๐โจ
It is such a massive blessing to watch our Stallions prioritize their relationship with God, actively growing their faith, and proving that our spiritual journey continues far beyond the Saturday and Sunday services. ๐โค๏ธ
๐ WORD OF EXHORTATION: PROVERBS 11:2-4
Tonightโs exhortation gave us a heavy breakdown of three major spiritual clashes: Pride vs. Humility, Integrity vs. Perverseness, and Richness vs. Righteousness. Here are our checkpoint key takeaways:
๐ช V. 2: Pride vs. Humility
"When pride cometh, then cometh shame: But with the lowly is wisdom."
Ang mga mayayabang ay takot mapahiya, pero hindi nila namamalayan na ang sariling kayabangan din nila ang naglalagay sa kanila sa kahihiyan! We all have a sinful nature and ego, but that is never an excuse. Wise people are humble people because they recognize two fundamental truths:
The truth about God: He is the Greatest! ๐
The truth about self: Without Him, we are Nothing!
(Like in Romans 1:19-21, foolish people refuse to recognize God's authority and fail to glorify Him, causing their foolish hearts to be darkened. DON'T USE YOUR EGOโBE HUMBLE!) โจ
๐งญ V. 3: Integrity (Upright) vs. Perverseness (Unfaithful)
"The integrity of the upright shall guide them: But the perverseness of transgressors shall destroy them."
One of the most wasted things in this world is time spent without the right guidance in the Grace of God. If you have integrity, God's truth will serve as your daily navigation system. But a perverse and unfaithful heart? It only leads straight to total destruction! ๐๐ฅ
โ๏ธ V. 4: Richness vs. Righteousness
"Riches profit not in the day of wrath: But righteousness delivereth from death."
A serious warning to unbelievers: No amount of money, status, or earthly wealth can save anyone on the day of wrath. Only the righteousness of Jesus Christ can deliver us from spiritual death! As Romans 3:10 and Isaiah 64:6 remind us, there is none righteous on their ownโour self-righteousness is nothing but dirty rags. We completely need Christ! โ๏ธโค๏ธ
๐ก THE ULTIMATE LESSON: "Kill the Ego, Walk in Integrity!"
Huwag nating hayaang gulangan tayo ng ating sariling ego o pagmamarunong. Recognize who God is and who we are without Him. Let integrity guide your decisions every single day, and rely solely on the righteousness of Christโnot on your own good works or material possessions! ๐ก๏ธโ
