Inaanyayahan ang lahat na makiisa sa Banal na Misa bilang paghahanda sa Kapistahan ni Santa Monica, isang huwaran ng pananampalataya, pagtitiyaga, at pagmamahal sa pamilya at sa Diyos.

🌿 3 Aral mula kay Santa Monica na maaari nating isabuhay:

1. MATIYAGANG PANANALANGIN 🙏
Hindi siya nagsawang manalangin para sa kanyang pamilya, lalo na para sa kanyang anak na si San Agustin. Sa kabila ng mahabang paghihintay, nanatili siyang umaasa sa awa at plano ng Diyos.
Para sa mga magulang: Huwag tayong magsawang ipanalangin ang ating mga anak.

2. TAPAT NA PAGMAMAHAL AT PAGPAPASENSYA ❤️
Sa gitna ng mga pagsubok sa kanyang pamilya at pagsasama bilang mag-asawa, pinili niyang manatiling mapagmahal, mapagpasensya, at tapat sa kanyang pananampalataya.
Para sa mga asawa at magulang: Ang tunay na pagmamahal ay marunong magtiis, umunawa, at magpatawad.

3. BUHAY NA NAGIGING SAKSI SA PANANAMPALATAYA ✨
Hindi lamang sa salita ipinakita ni Santa Monica ang kanyang pananampalataya. Nakita ito sa kanyang pamumuhay, pananalangin, at paglilingkod.
Para sa mga lingkod ng Diyos: Ang ating paglilingkod ay nagiging makapangyarihang patotoo kapag ito ay nagmumula sa pusong tunay na nagmamahal sa Diyos.

Sa bawat panalangin na tila matagal bago masagot, sa bawat anak na ating ipinagdarasal, at sa bawat pagsubok sa pamilya at paglilingkod, nawa'y matuto tayo kay Santa Monica na huwag mawalan ng pag-asa sa Diyos.

❤️ Munting Tulong, Malaking Pagmamahal

Sa gitna ng malakas at tuloy-tuloy na pag-ulan, umapaw ang creek sa Pinugay, Baras, Rizal, dahilan upang lumikas ang 66 na pamilya patungo sa evacuation center sa Pinugay Elementary School Phase 1, Southville 9.

Kagabi, sa pangunguna ni Rev. Fr. Mark Gadiane, OAD, katuwang ang mga miyembro ng Social Action Ministry ng Our Lady of Fatima Parish, Barangay Pinugay at mga communitty volunteers namahagi ng mainit na lugaw sa mga pamilyang pansamantalang nanunuluyan sa evacuation center.

Ang pagkilos na ito ay bahagi ng paalala sa atin ng Dilexi Te ni Pope Leo XIV—na ang Diyos ay nakikinig sa daing ng mga mahihirap at nangangailangan, at tayo ay tinatawag na tumugon sa kanilang pangangailangan.

🙏 Nawa’y magsilbi itong paalala na sa panahon ng pagsubok, walang maliit na pagtulong kapag ito ay ginagawa nang may pagmamahal.

This is more than simply counting prayers. It is an offering of love, reparation, thanksgiving, and intercession through the powerful prayer of the Holy Rosary. Together, let us entrust our families, parish community, loved ones, and our nation to the loving care of our Blessed Mother.

Matthew 15:21–28

“O woman, great is your faith!”
— Matthew 15:28

🌾 Reflection

The Canaanite woman came to Jesus with one request: “Lord, help me.”

She was desperate. Her daughter was suffering, and she refused to give up.

Even when Jesus seemed silent, she continued to ask.

Her persistence can teach us something important about prayer.

Sometimes we pray once and expect an immediate answer.

When nothing happens, we become discouraged.

But this woman teaches us to remain faithful.

Prayer is not about forcing God to give us exactly what we want. Prayer is about continuing to place our trust in Him—even when we do not understand His timing.

Her faith was tested, but she remained humble.

And Jesus recognized it.

“Great is your faith!”

Maybe your prayer has been unanswered for a long time. Maybe you have been praying for a family member, healing, employment, reconciliation, or a personal intention.

Do not lose heart.

Keep praying.

Keep trusting.

Keep bringing your heart to Jesus.

God hears even the prayers we whisper through tears.

🙏 Prayer

Lord Jesus, strengthen my faith when my prayers seem unanswered. Give me the perseverance to continue trusting You and the humility to accept Your will. May I never stop bringing my needs and the needs of those I love before You. Amen.
