Today, April 21, 2026, marks the fifth death anniversary of our beloved Bishop, Most Reverend Antonio Pepito Palang, SVD, DD.
A brief history of Bishop Tony Palang:
born on June 13, 1946, in Consolacion, Cebu. He was ordained a priest in the Society of the Divine Word on July 8, 1972, and St. Pope John Paul II appointed him Apostolic Administrator of the Vicariate Apostolic of San Jose, Occidental Mindoro, on June 26, 2000. On March 1, 2002, he was appointed to be the 2nd Vicar Apostolic and was ordained bishop and installed on May 31, 2002. Bishop Tony suffered a heart attack that caused his death on April 21, 2021.
