These months can be beautifully connected to the Church’s devotional life, especially as the year draws toward Advent and Christmas:

September: The Seven Sorrows of Mary

September invites us to contemplate the Seven Sorrows of the Blessed Virgin Mary—the deep suffering she endured in union with her Son, Jesus. From Simeon’s prophecy to Mary standing beneath the Cross, her sorrows reveal a Mother whose love remained faithful even in the midst of immense pain.
Reflection: When we experience suffering, may we learn from Mary to remain faithful, trusting that God can bring grace even from our deepest wounds.

October: The Holy Rosary

October is traditionally dedicated to the Holy Rosary, a powerful prayer centered on the mysteries of Christ’s life, death, and Resurrection, contemplated with Mary. Each Hail Mary becomes an invitation to slow down, reflect, and place our lives in God’s hands.
Reflection: May the Rosary become not merely a prayer we recite, but a prayer we live—walking with Mary as she leads us closer to Jesus.

November: The Holy Souls in Purgatory

November turns our hearts toward prayer for the faithful departed, especially the souls in Purgatory. It reminds us that our love and prayers do not end with death. We can offer Masses, prayers, sacrifices, and good works for those who have gone before us, entrusting them to God’s mercy.
Reflection: May we never forget to pray for our departed loved ones. One day, may others also remember us in their prayers.

December: The Immaculate Conception

December begins with the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, celebrating God’s grace given to Mary from the first moment of her conception, preserving her from original sin in preparation for her unique role as the Mother of the Savior. Her purity and complete openness to God point us toward the mystery of Christ’s coming.
Reflection: As we prepare for Christmas, may Mary teach us to make our hearts a worthy dwelling place for Jesus—pure, humble, and completely open to God’s will.

From sorrow, to prayer, to remembrance, to purity—these devotions lead our hearts closer to Christ. Mary accompanies us through every season, always pointing us toward her Son.

May the Blessed Virgin Mary, our Mother and Queen, intercede for us before her Son, Jesus. May she lead us closer to Christ, strengthen us in times of trial, and teach us to trust God with the same humble “yes” she gave at the Annunciation.

IN THE BLESSED SACRAMENT, JESUS IS PRESENT.

On this First Friday, let us draw near to Jesus truly present in the Blessed Sacrament. He waits for us—not as a distant God, but as a loving Savior whose Sacred Heart continues to burn with love for every soul.

Spend a few moments in Eucharistic Adoration or visit the church if you can. Speak to Him from your heart, sit quietly in His presence, and allow His love to renew your spirit. Before the Blessed Sacrament, we are never alone. There, we encounter the living Christ who comforts the weary, strengthens the weak, forgives the sinner, and fills every faithful heart with His peace.

Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, truly present in the Holy Eucharist, have mercy on us.

AUGUST 7, 2026 | FIRST FRIDAY OF THE MONTH

Today, the Church observes the First Friday of the Month, a day especially dedicated to the Most Sacred Heart of Jesus.

As we honor His Sacred Heart, let us remember His infinite love and mercy for all humanity. May this day inspire us to deepen our faith through prayer, the Holy Eucharist, and acts of charity. Let us confidently entrust to the Heart of Jesus our families, our intentions, our struggles, and the needs of the world.

Most Sacred Heart of Jesus, have mercy on us. ❤️

HOLY WEEK 2026 ✝️

As the Church enters the most sacred days of the liturgical year, we walk with the Lord from His triumphal entry into Jerusalem, through His Passion and Death, to the glory of His Resurrection. May this Holy Week deepen our conversion, renew our faith, and draw us closer to Christ, who gave His life for the salvation of the world.

“Pray the Rosary every day to obtain peace in the world” in light of the current Iran–Israel war, rooted in what Our Lady of Fátima asked at Fatima in 1917:

In 1917 at Fatima, Portugal, Our Lady appeared to three humble children and repeatedly urged the faithful: “Pray the Rosary every day to obtain peace for the world and the end of the war.” She made this appeal in the midst of one of the deadliest conflicts in history — World War I — teaching that prayer, especially the Rosary, is powerful in drawing down God’s mercy and peace upon a troubled world.

Today, as tensions between nations such as Iran and Israel escalate into open conflict, the message of Fatima rings with urgent relevance. Wars and violence continue to cause immense suffering — families displaced, innocent lives lost, hearts filled with fear and hatred. In a world where political solutions seem distant and leaders struggle to find lasting peace, our Blessed Mother invites us not to despair, but to turn to God through prayer.

The Rosary is not merely a set of prayers; it is a spiritual weapon of peace. It leads us to meditate on the mysteries of Christ’s life — His love, suffering, death, and Resurrection — while trusting that Mary, our spiritual mother, prays with us and for us. As Pope St. John Paul II said, the Rosary is Mary’s prayer, and in it she prays with us, helping us grow closer to Jesus.

When Mary asked the faithful to pray the Rosary daily to obtain peace, she pointed to the spiritual heart of peacemaking — conversion, repentance, and union with God. Peace in the world will not come through weapons or negotiations alone, but through hearts transformed by prayer, love, humility, and forgiveness. As she promised at Fatima, devotion to her Immaculate Heart is the path to peace.

So today, in the context of the Iran–Israel war and other conflicts across the globe, let us respond to her call:

🙏 Pray the Rosary every day — for peace in the Holy Land, for the safety of civilians, for wisdom for leaders, and for the conversion of hearts hardened by violence.
🙏 Offer our prayers in reparation for sin, trusting that the peace of Christ — far greater than any ceasefire — may be granted to humanity.
🙏 Entrust the world to the care of Mary’s Immaculate Heart, the refuge and way that leads us to her Son.

May our daily Rosary be a source of grace — a fountain of peace pouring into a world thirsting for mercy and healing. Amen.
