The Caniaw Heritage and Forest Park recently hosted BS Forestry students from the University of the Philippines Los Baรฑos (UPLB) | College of Forestry and Natural Resources for a productive field trip on 28 March 2026. During their visit, the students gained hands-on insights into forest plantation maintenance and restoration. It was an inspiring day of learning about the practical side of forest rehabilitation with the next generation of environmental leaders.

On 5 April 2025, the University of the Philippines - Los Baรฑos College of Forestry and Natural Resources (UPLB CFNR) ventured into Caniaw Heritage and Forest Park for an educational field trip. The visit gave students an immersive experience of Ilocos Surโ€™s forest ecosystem while enjoying adventure-based learning through activities like the Arial Rope Courses. This hands-on trip helped deepen their understanding of sustainable forest management, community-based tourism, and nature conservation in action.

The Provincial Health Office - Ilocos Sur successfully conducted a two-day team-building activity for its 60 staff members at Caniaw Heritage and Forest Park on 22-23 March 2025.

The activity aimed to foster camaraderie, improve collaboration, and enhance the skills of healthcare professionals. Through various team-based activities and interactive sessions, participants were able to strengthen their working relationships, boost morale, and align with the shared vision of a healthier ONE Ilocos Sur.
