Sa Great Commission, hindi nagtapos ang command ni Jesus sa “make disciples.” Sinabi rin Niya na turuan sila “to obey everything I have commanded you.”

Ibig sabihin, ang discipleship ay hindi lang tungkol sa pagdadala ng tao sa faith. It is about walking with them as they grow—teaching God's Word, modeling Christlike living, answering questions, correcting with love, and encouraging obedience.
Notice that Jesus didn't simply say “teach them everything.” He said “teach them to obey.”

Because biblical discipleship is not just about information—it is transformation.
At may magandang assurance sa dulo: “I am with you always.” Hindi natin ginagawa ang mission nang mag-isa. Kasama natin si Jesus.

Reflection Question:
Who is one person you can help move from simply knowing God's Word to actually obeying it?

Ang mission ng disciple ay hindi “wait until people come to church.” Sinabi ni Jesus, “Go.”

The gospel is meant to be shared. Hindi tayo tinawag ni Jesus na itago ang good news sa loob ng church. We are sent into our homes, workplaces, schools, communities, and wherever God gives us influence.

At minsan, ang “go” ay hindi nangangahulugan ng pagpunta sa malayo. It can simply mean taking the first step—starting a conversation, reaching out to someone, praying with a person, sharing your testimony, or inviting someone to know Jesus.

A disciple doesn't wait for the mission to come to him. A disciple goes.

Who is one person God may be asking you to “go” to today?

Ang discipleship ay hindi nagtatapos sa “I follow Jesus.” May mission ang bawat disciple.

Sa Great Commission, malinaw ang command ni Jesus: “Go and make disciples.” Ibig sabihin, ang buhay ng isang disciple ay hindi lang tungkol sa personal spiritual growth. Tinatawag tayo ni Jesus na gamitin ang ating buhay, relationships, gifts, at opportunities upang matulungan ang iba na makilala at sumunod sa Kanya.

Hindi lamang ito responsibility ng pastors, missionaries, o church leaders. Every disciple is called to participate in the mission of Jesus.

We are blessed by Christ, transformed by Christ, and sent by Christ

WOTD: TO COUNT THE COST

Bago sabihin ni Jesus ang tungkol sa pagiging Kanyang disciple, nagbigay muna Siya ng isang illustration tungkol sa isang taong gustong magtayo ng tore. Ang isang matalinong tao ay inuunang bilangin ang halaga bago magsimula.

Ganoon din ang discipleship. Ang pagsunod kay Jesus ay hindi isang emosyonal na desisyon lamang o isang Sunday commitment. Ito ay isang lifelong commitment na nangangailangan ng pananampalataya, pagtitiis, at pagsuko ng ating sariling kalooban.

Ang magandang balita ay ito: kahit may halaga ang pagsunod kay Cristo, mas dakila ang gantimpala ng pamumuhay kasama Niya. Walang anumang isusuko natin para kay Jesus ang maihahambing sa buhay na ibinibigay Niya.

Reflection Question:
Have you truly counted the cost of following Jesus, and are you willing to follow Him wholeheartedly no matter the cost?

Ang bunga ng Espiritu ay hindi listahan ng mga katangiang kailangan nating pilitin na magkaroon. Ito ay resulta ng isang buhay na nananatili kay Cristo at sumusunod sa Banal na Espiritu.
Habang lumalalim ang ating relasyon kay Jesus, unti-unting makikita sa ating buhay ang love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, at self-control. Ito ang tunay na ebidensya ng spiritual growth.
Ang tanong ay hindi lang, "Ilang Bible verses ang alam ko?" kundi "Mas nakikita ba si Jesus sa aking karakter ngayon kaysa noong nakaraan?"

Alin sa fruit of the Spirit ang gusto ng Diyos na mas makita sa buhay mo ngayon, at paano mo ito maisasabuhay ngayong linggo?

Hindi sinabi ni Jesus na ang tunay na disciple ay makikilala sa dami ng alam niya o sa tagal niya sa church. Ang sabi Niya, "bear much fruit." Ang bunga ng isang disciple ay makikita sa kanyang transformed life—sa kanyang pag-ibig, kabanalan, obedience, kababaang-loob, at sa impluwensyang nagdadala ng iba palapit kay Cristo.

Ang fruit ay hindi pinipilit; ito ay natural na lumalabas kapag nananatili tayong konektado kay Jesus. Habang lumalalim ang relasyon natin sa Kanya, mas nakikita rin ang Kanyang karakter sa ating buhay

Reflection Question:

Kung titingnan ng mga tao ang buhay mo ngayon, anong "fruit" ang makikita nila na nagpapatunay na ikaw ay tunay na disciple ni Jesus?

Sinabi ni Jesus na ang pinakakilalang marka ng Kanyang mga disciples ay love. Hindi Niya sinabi na makikilala tayo dahil sa dami ng alam natin sa Bible, sa ministry natin, o sa posisyon natin sa church. Ang sabi Niya, "By this everyone will know that you are My disciples, if you love one another."

Ang tunay na pag-ibig ay nakikita sa ating actions. Pinipili nitong magpatawad kaysa magkimkim ng galit, maglingkod kaysa magpa-importante, at magpakita ng kabaitan kahit hindi ito madali.

Kapag ang pagmamahal ni Cristo ang nakikita sa ating buhay, nagiging malinaw sa mga tao na tayo ay tunay na sumusunod kay Jesus.
