𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗻 𝘂𝘀 𝘁𝗵𝗶𝘀 𝗦𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗱𝗮𝘆
𝗔𝘀 𝘄𝗲 𝗰𝗲𝗹𝗲𝗯𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗚𝗼𝗱’𝘀 𝗚𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘁 𝗦𝗽𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗼𝗿!
𝗝𝗼𝗶𝗻 𝗦𝗙𝗖 𝗢𝗥𝗠𝗜𝗡 𝗼𝗻 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗳𝗲𝗹𝗹𝗼𝘄𝘀𝗵𝗶𝗽 𝗮𝘀 𝘄𝗲 𝘀𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝗹𝗮𝘂𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗲𝗿, 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗲𝘀, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗰𝗮𝗺𝗮𝗿𝗮𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗲!

Lord, teach us to pray.

Take a look at Luke 22:41-42

"And he withdrew from them about a stone’s throw, and knelt down and prayed, saying, “Father, if you are willing, remove this cup from me. Nevertheless, not my will, but yours, be done.”"

Note several things here:

· Jesus withdrew from the group to enjoy that sweet private fellowship and communion with out Father

· Jesus bowed down in reverence, in a posture of submission

· Jesus made His petition clearly known

· Jesus ultimately submitted to His Father's will, desiring His will above all.

Brothers and sisters, God isn't a cosmic butler or order taker. We don't demand things from Him and we don't decree things, for we were never vested with that power.

And when we pray, we're not ripping blessings from the hands of a God who is unwilling or reluctant to bless us.

When we pray, we are coming before the Sovereign King over all the universe and saying, "Lord, do what seems best to you, do that which will bring you the most glory and conform me to the image of you beloved Son."

And once that is done, we look forward to His providence, trusting His unsearchable wisdom and fatherly care for us.

He will never give us a rock when we ask for bread. He will give wisdom and insight to all who ask for it. And, He directs all things for our good and His glory.

Trust in this God!

When making a decision, the first question to consider is always this —

“Will mo ba ‘to Lord?”

Will mo ba ‘tong trabahong to, Lord?
Will mo ba ‘tong relationship na to, Lord?
Will mo bang umalis ako Lord, o magstay?
Will mo bang isuko ko na, o ipaglaban ko pa?
Will mo bang bitawan ko na, o maniwala pa ko?
Will mo ba sya para sa’kin, Lord?
——
Because there’s no safer place but in the center of God’s will.

Pag will Nya yan, it’ll prosper effortlessly.
Pag will Nya yan, things will go smoothly.
Pag will Nya yan, may blessing ng mga leaders mo, people around you are celebrating with you.
Pag will Nya yan, may peace ka.
Pag will Nya yan, para sa ikakabuti mo yan.

Pero pag hindi Nya will pero tinutuloy mo pa din, ramdam mo yung bigat. Di aabante. Walang blessing ni Lord at ng mga tao sa paligid mo. Ikaw lang din ang mapapahamak. As the bible says, “you’ll just find yourself fighting against God.”

At the end of the day, sana kahit gaano kahirap, kahit na gustung-gusto mo, kung di naman will ng Lord, bibitawan mo. Kasi di worth it ipaglaban, kung si Lord naman ang masasaktan.

Ngayon, paano nga ba malalaman if will ni Lord?

- When there is "peace."
- When you know that there are confirmations from the Lord.
- When everyone around you is rejoicing.
- When you are growing.
- When you know that it will glorify God.
- at ang pinakamahalaga sa lahat, ang will ni Lord ay nasa kanyang salita.

"Lord, not my will but yours be done!" 🥺
