1 Corinthians 13

1. Love Is Greater Than All Gifts (vv.1–3)
Love is not just an added virtue—it is the foundation. Without it, even the most “impressive” spiritual or charitable acts are empty.

2. What Love Looks Like (vv.4–7)
True love is more about character than feeling. It is outward-looking, selfless, and enduring.

3. Love Is Eternal (vv.8–12)
Love is not temporary. It is the one thing that carries into eternity.

4. The Greatest Virtue (v.13)

1 Corinthians 13 tells us that love is not just an emotion—it is the very essence of God’s nature. It is practical, selfless, and eternal. Paul elevates love above all human achievements and even above faith and hope, because love is what makes life meaningful both now and in eternity.

💡 In short: Jesus is calling us to a lifestyle of faith over fear, trust over anxiety, and kingdom-first living. That means loosening our grip on money, success, and security, and tightening our grip on God’s promises.
