What motivates you to look for Christ?
Many people looked for Jesus because He fed them with bread and fish and performed miracles. They wanted what He could give, but they did not truly seek Him for who He is.
Jesus said:
“Very truly I tell you, you are looking for me, not because you saw the signs I performed but because you ate the loaves and had your fill.”
— John 6:26 (NIV)
This verse reminds us to ask ourselves:
Do I seek Jesus only for His blessings, or do I seek Him because He is my Lord and Savior?
Our greatest reason to follow Christ is not just for what He gives us, but because He is God and He alone gives eternal life.
