LOOK | Hundreds of members of the Apostolado ti Kararag gathered today, May 30, 2026, at the Divine Word College of Bangued Gymnasium for their 16th Diocesan Biennial Convention.

In the Holy Mass dedicated to the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Fr. Antonio Ruyan, the principal celebrant, reminded the participants of their vocation as apostles of prayer, calling them to remain steadfast in their commitment to a life of constant communion with God. Reflecting on the heart of their mission, he said, “Ti kararag ket panaginana iti sidong ti Dios” (“Prayer is resting in the Lord”), inviting them to remain faithful to their identity and mission as men and women devoted to prayer.

The convention serves as an opportunity for spiritual renewal, strengthening the members’ dedication to fostering a deeper prayer life in their families, communities, and parishes.

In his weekly DZPA radio program, The Shepherd’s Voice, this morning, May 27, 2026, Bishop Leopoldo Jaucian was joined by several young participants of the recently-concluded Parish Youth Camp of the St. James the Elder Cathedral Parish in Bangued, Abra.

Bishop Jaucian reiterated the words he shared during his welcome address at the Youth Camp: “Sikayo ti agdama a mangbibiag ti Simbaan ken kagimongan ken dakayo ti baknang ti Simbaan, isu a dapat aywanan, saluadan ti Simbaan dagiti agtutubo.”

The Bishop also expressed his gratitude to the youth, recognizing their creativity, active participation, and valuable contributions to the life and mission of the Church.
