𝗣𝗔𝗗𝗥𝗘𝗦 (𝗠𝗔𝗧𝗜 𝗖𝗟𝗘𝗥𝗚𝗬) 𝗩𝗦 𝗟𝗚𝗨 𝗕𝗔𝗡𝗔𝗬𝗕𝗔𝗡𝗔𝗬 𝗙𝗿𝗶𝗲𝗻𝗱𝗹𝘆 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗸𝗲𝘁𝗯𝗮𝗹𝗹 𝗚𝗮𝗺𝗲

A friendly basketball game between the Padres (Mati Clergy) and the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Banaybanay was conducted on May 18, 2026, at the San Isidro Labrador Parish Activity Center.

Both sides exhibited commendable sportsmanship and unity during the match, as the Padres secured the victory with a final score of 79-66. The event highlighted strong collaboration and fellowship between the religious sector and local government.

Today, we celebrate not only the birthday of our beloved shepherd, Most Rev. Abel C. Apigo, but also the life of a servant who continues to lead the Diocese of Mati with faith, humility, and a heart rooted in Christ. Your presence has become a source of strength and hope to many, and through your leadership and dedication to the Church, countless people have felt the love of God more closely.

As you mark another year of life, may the Lord continue to bless you with good health, wisdom, and joy as you guide His people with courage and grace. We pray that the Lord strengthen you each day, fill your heart with peace, and grant you many more years of faithful and fruitful service in His vineyard.
