𝐍𝐀𝐓𝐀𝐓𝐀𝐍𝐆𝐈𝐍𝐆 𝐊𝐀𝐁𝐀𝐀𝐓𝐀𝐀𝐍 𝐀𝐖𝐀𝐑𝐃🥇

The 𝐒𝐭. 𝐉𝐨𝐬𝐞𝐩𝐡 𝐏𝐚𝐫𝐢𝐬𝐡 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐨𝐧 𝐘𝐨𝐮𝐭𝐡 recognizes the young people of the parish who have wholeheartedly dedicated their 𝙩𝙞𝙢𝙚, 𝙩𝙖𝙡𝙚𝙣𝙩𝙨, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙚𝙛𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙩𝙨 in serving the Church community.

The “𝐍𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐚𝐛𝐚𝐭𝐚𝐚𝐧 𝐀𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝” is a recognition given to youth who have shown exemplary participation, not only in Church activities but also in various formation programs that nurture their faith and leadership.

These young individuals have been 𝐯𝐢𝐬𝐢𝐛𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐚𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐯𝐞 in different ministries — serving as 𝙘𝙝𝙤𝙞𝙧 𝙢𝙚𝙢𝙗𝙚𝙧𝙨, 𝙖𝙡𝙩𝙖𝙧 𝙨𝙚𝙧𝙫𝙚𝙧𝙨, 𝙖𝙣𝙙 𝙥𝙖𝙧𝙞𝙨𝙝 𝙚𝙫𝙚𝙣𝙩 𝙫𝙤𝙡𝙪𝙣𝙩𝙚𝙚𝙧𝙨. Their service, makes them true role models of faith and commitment among their fellow youth.

Their dedication is a clear sign that the future of the Church is in faithful hands. They are a living reminder that the call to serve knows no age, and even in their youth, God’s love shines through their actions.

“Upon this rock I will build my Church. I will give you the keys to the Kingdom of Heaven.”

Today’s Gospel reminds us of Christ’s promise to Peter and His Church. No matter what challenges the Church faces, we trust that the Holy Spirit will never abandon us.

The Holy Mass is not entertainment. We do not go to Mass simply to be entertained or to pass the time. We go to worship, to give thanks, to pray, and to encounter Christ. Let us teach our children and young people to appreciate the Mass and to understand that faith requires humility, discipline, and sacrifice.

As parents, we have the responsibility to guide our children not by giving them everything they ask for, but by teaching them respect, discipline, hard work, perseverance, and faith in God. We must plant good seeds in their hearts today so that they may bear good fruit tomorrow.

Let us also become prayer warriors praying for our families, our Church, our leaders, and for peace and harmony in our communities. But remember prayer must be accompanied by action, sacrifice, and hard work.

May we remain united in faith, humble in heart, and faithful in prayer.

Today’s First Reading from Isaiah 56:1, 6–7 reminds us: “Do what is right.” God’s house is a house of prayer—a place where everyone is welcomed, regardless of status, background, or circumstance.

Today’s Gospel reminds us of the greatness of God’s mercy and compassion. The story teaches us that faith is not about who we are, what we have, or how influential we may be. Even those who were considered outsiders could approach Jesus with humility and trust, saying, “Have pity on me, Lord, Son of David.”

Let us never become proud because of our knowledge, position, wealth, beauty, strength, or influence. Humility comes from remembering that we are dust and that everything we have is ultimately a gift from God.

Our riches, talents, opportunities, and influence are temporary. There will come a time when these things may no longer be ours. But mercy and compassion never go to waste. When we choose to show kindness, especially to those who are poor, forgotten, or in need, we become instruments of God’s love. And when our own time of need comes, may we also experience the same mercy and compassion we have freely given to others.

Let us use whatever power, influence, knowledge, or resources God has entrusted to us—not for our own glory, but to serve our community and uplift those who need help the most.

May we always remain humble, compassionate, and faithful, remembering that God’s house is a house of prayer, mercy, and welcome for all.

Today’s reflection reminds us that God is not always found in the wind, the earthquake, or the fire—but in the gentle whisper that speaks to our conscience.

Like the prophet Elijah, may we have the courage to listen to God's voice and stand for what is true, just, and life-giving. Wealth, power, and authority are gifts entrusted to us—not to silence the weak or exploit creation, but to protect human dignity and care for the world God has entrusted to us.

When money speaks, many may listen, but may our hearts remain attentive to the quiet voice of the Lord, who calls us to defend what is right, safeguard our children’s future, and be faithful stewards of His creation.

“Do not be afraid. It is I.” (Matthew 14:27)

May we never be afraid to stand for truth, justice, and the common good. 🙏🌿
